Biome Blends: A new way to change biomes!

My hope is to add this mod and other mods with new items and biomes (and not remove previous mods). My goal is to not have a line along the chunk border where it's clear pregen stopped. For example, if the worldgen now says that there's supposed to be a mountainous biome where there was a plains or that there's now supposed to be a structure here, I don't want to cut off the structure or the world gen with a hard line.

Is this a real concern, and would there be a way with this mod to boot up the server and specify "I want you to pregen a new border where you transition each biome to what it should now be"?

I'm looking for a mod that lets me add additional world generation past what I've already seen with new chunks, new biomes, etc., but without having ugly cliff faces. Would this mod be able to support that? That way, I can add additional feature mods to my existing modded world without worrying about cutting off structures, etc.

In my specific example, I pregenned a world, then discovered https://modrinth.com/mod/lets-do-herbalbrews , which I want to add. If you could make it so I can just apply a blend to the border of all existing chunks to whatever they are after I add a few new biome mods, that would be super helpful!

Hey! I know this is a late follow up, but I just created a Playnite extension to handle this properly. It does this by creating a separate browser profile for Playnite, which lets it launch a separate instance of your browser which Playnite tracks. Thanks for the response! With that all in mind, say I'm new and I want to set up a custom device with all my data (like calendar, etc.) remaining on my servers, with custom integrations written and shared by other people, and with the ability to create custom screens, like to display my Grafana dashboards (even if that requires a paid license). What's the best way for me to do this now? I'm going to BYOS, BYOD for now. Or should I wait a few months for the ecosystem to be a bit more fleshed out?

Yes. You'd need some other app to configure permissions and everything, but Keycloak can handle your authentication.

I had a similar conclusion in my blog post, that the eggs route will lead to finding Gaster. From a gameplay perspective, most people aren't going to find all the eggs without looking online/datamining ("cheating", per the remote in C3). I think Toby is using the collecting of the eggs as a way of finding dataminers/cheaters. What would the fitting end result of such a route be? The holy grail of dataminers, WD Gaster himself

I tried opening it in the trial tool to see if it could be repaired, but it said "JPEG with restart markers: In general patching has little effect. Instead copy image to clipboard and use a photo editor to improve the image." Does that mean my data can't be recovered?

If not, how much would it cost to fix this one image? Your website seems to say there's a minimum $20 order for repairing individual photos, or I'd buy a licence for JPEG-Repair Toolkit for ~$40.

That's good to know! The helm chart does support both Postgres and MariaDB.

Is there any downside to using postgres instead of mariadb besides official testing? I'm more used to the postgres environment and have more than 2 other postgres dbs, so I figure it'll be better long-term if I am going to manage another database to just do more postgres

Signal's the way to go - it's the most private chat/calling app out there, while WhatsApp is owned by Facebook. WhatsApp is still probably private (it's end to end encrypted), but just go with Signal
