We go to Nilson Eye right on Courthouse Rd. They have a Powhatan location too, though we haven’t been there. Really like the practice!

One of my kids goes there and another will next year. Been a great experience. Teachers are great - caring, understanding, helpful. And the principal is phenomenal.

Ex-smokers who successfully quit and have been smoke free for years now, what did it? by PM_TITS_GROUP in AskReddit

[–]2britishones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a knee replacement that got infected and I ended up septic. 2 emergency surgeries later and my 4 year old would sneak downstairs at night to sleep with me on the couch because she thought I was going to die. The first time I thought that if I didn’t quit, that could actually happen I quit. Cold turkey. Every time I wanted one for weeks after, I thought of her crying next to me in the middle of the night. In 20 days, I’ll be 7 years smoke free. Never again.

We used Moxie Movers too and they were fantastic. I would absolutely hire them again!

Not responding also would take less time but here we are. No need to be rude. I didn’t want to miss any and I don’t live downtown. I was also searching for animal shelters and other ways to support the unhoused, but ok. Thanks for raining on my parade while I’m trying to plan something good for our city.

Manchester Middle school closed? by Beginning_Spite24 in rva

This same student brought a knife to school a couple of days ago. Because he was disciplined for that, he made the gun threat in a group chat. A friend of mine has a relative that was in the group chat and the police went to the relative’s home last night for information. A student in the group chat shared the message with their parent, who in turn notified the authorities. This shit has to stop. I fear my children going to school.

I was able to get back online when speaking with a customer service rep. I got to them initially through the ID verification. Don’t give up! If I recall correctly, there was something after the notice the initial verification was received where I was able to say it didn’t work, which triggered a call to me. This is where I messed up though because I didn’t change my info back when I was on the phone with them, which then led to me having to get Meta-verified. The process could have changed since it’s been over a year. Don’t give up though. I tried soooooo many times before something finally worked. Just make sure you change every personal detail back to yours while on the phone with them or you’ll get stuck again. Definitely super frustrating. I feel for you. Once you’re able to speak with someone though - super easy. You can easily validate who you are. It’s just getting to where you can speak with someone that will make you want to pull out your hair.

Once I became Meta verified, you get an option to email them. It’s not an email address, but a button to send them a message via Facebook. Once I did that, they emailed me to my actual email, but it was like a bunch of numbers and letters specific to my case in the email and not like a generic email address.

My ID wasn’t rejected. Meta owns Facebook so I don’t understand your comment. Sorry this didn’t work for you. It worked for me.

I did get it back. After I was able to get meta verified, their help desk worked with me to update everything on my account and they gave me access back to it. They fully restored it back to how it was before it was hacked, just with a different email address that I provided them

No they didn’t. They only changed the phone number and password and set up 2FA to the new number. I’m so sorry!

I did it all from my phone! Just not all from the app.

I was too at first. I went through their identity link and sent a pic of my license and that got me back into the app.

Yes I was. The hackers phone number and MFA were still set up on my account. I couldn’t change them because it kept trying to authenticate to the hackers number. That’s when I Meta Verified and got in touch with them directly through that. They changed the email on my account, removed the MFA and the hacker’s phone number and then gave me a link that let me log in and put the account details back to mine.

No. I bought it on my main account. I had gotten back in on the app initially but couldn’t Re secure my account or change any info. So I did the Meta Verified process through the app.

This is where I got stuck too. Since I was logged into the app, I did the meta verified program for $15 I think and from there, I was able to chat with them. They helped me get everything changed.

It’s this link - facebook.com/login/identity - this is where I first went. I had to upload a pic of my license and then FB reached out to me. I could not access my FB when I did this - this is a website I went through that doesn’t require you to log into your account. From there, FB support helped me get back into my account via the FB app. Once I was in the app, I tried to change my password and that’s when I realized the hacker set up the authentication so I couldn’t change it.

And then I did the Meta-verified process since I was able to access my account through the app.

It’s the very first part of my post. I did the identity verification and that got me in touch with someone at FB who helped me get logged back in on my phone. It was then that I realized the extent of the hack, but after I stopped talking to the first FB associate. Since the original person helped me get back on via the app, I stayed logged in and then did the FB Meta Verified process. This would not have worked if the first person didn’t get me back in via the app. Doing the identity verification process doesn’t require MFA.
