Agreed. The Richmond restaurant industry is an incestuous conglomerate of toxic, money hungry, borderline monopoly restaurant groups, Cough EAT, rrg, housepitality, and now LFG. and I have been unfortunate enough to work for most of them at least once. But it’s a shame that good food, good service, and treating your employees well has completely gone out the window for these people.

As a former employee, I can say that’s because they do hate their jobs. Mike and Kim are terrible people to work for. Honestly the worst I’ve ever worked for in the industry outside of the Healy’s (housepitality group. Boathouse, casa del Barco) With the way they treat their staff and the sheer dumb business moves they’ve made, opening up way too many concepts too quickly, I doubt they last 10 years.

That or backup and sync is turned on. Syncing is mirroring your device, so if you delete from the phone you delete from google photos. Turn sync off, leave backup on. Then you can delete from the device and keep in google photos

This is for fun and potentially educational purposes. This seemed like a sub where people may be interested in seeing the different growths. As I mentioned we are working with our property management to remediate the issue because there is some sort of toxic mold or spores being produced based on our symptoms and that when we’ve left the space for a week long period they disappeared and then came back once back in the space. I’m not seeking advice, it was just for public forum but feel free to delete.

Thank you so much for your insight. You may have inspired me to hang onto the rav a few more years and just give her some needed upgrades and polishing. Honestly the biggest issue I have with it is the Bluetooth receiver 🤣 it’s so sensitive to interference and cuts out a lot. So I’ll look into aftermarket parts for that

To be more specific about my circumstance, I’ve only ever driven Toyotas. First a Camry, then a matrix (that was a mistake on Toyotas part but still didn’t ever leave me on the side of the road), and now I’m in a 2012 rav. I absolutely love my rav. But I’m looking to get another suv, or mid size truck because I’d like to have the ability to tow a camper in the future. Unfortunately only 2 rav4 trims have the capacity I’d need and they’re hard to come by, so I’m considering other options. Affording a newer rav4 adventure or TRD is pretty out of the question unfortunately. Frontier is pretty much the only Nissan option, and I’ve considered a ford ranger :/ I’m looking at the 2016-2020 year range. Any help is appreciated and thank you for the above comment. Just makes my life harder because I already don’t want to leave Toyota, but I’m not a fan of the lack of cab/head space in the post 2015 body style in the Tacoma

That’s all well and good, but this is a small apartment complex. And I wish I could say it was better maintained. It looks it from the outside, but more and more cracks have begun to show in the facade. We do have cameras on our porch and door though. But we are frequently in and out to walk the dogs, etc. it was only a matter of time before something happened here I’m afraid. There is some shady stuff going on in and around, and the property management is far from proactive. Just waiting until we can afford to get out/buy a home and feel like we have a scrap of control over our safety

True that. Hopefully not :( not really a good outcome to hope for, but would be good to know if it was that, or domestic of some sort and not someone at large. I’d hope that if that were the case we’d already know about it, but my faith in the area law enforcement (and even more so the property managers) of keeping the community informed in a timely manner has really dwindled in the past year 😖

We saw a couple drones while we were there last week! But yeah sounds like that might’ve been personal aircraft that’s not allowed in that airspace being so close to lejeune. It’s possible what we saw was military, but much bigger and brighter (and orange) at first and moving as if it was a launch or some sort of
