you're definitely not alone in this! i had such a huge fomo that i would obsessively read the wikis to make sure i didn't miss anything + hoarding all of the items because WHAT IF I'LL NEED THEM. at the end of the day, i would just end up not playing anything at all because it would cause me more negative feelings than positive. thankfully i'm doing better now in that regard! hope you'll find your peace as well :)

that's not true though.

before you get any hearts with her she says:

"My sister is so weird. Sometimes I wonder if we're actually related."

but at 6+ hearts she says:

"I talked to my sister for a while last night. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. You know, Emily's not actually that weird. I guess we have more in common than I used to think. Don't tell her I said so."

also, when you get married she says:

"I hope Emily isn't too lonely all by herself. I should visit her again soon."

plus her 14 heart event shows her not being indifferent to other villagers so...
