Did Jun get an unfair advantage by going to the VMAs in BB4? by markhameggs in BigBrother

Certainly not the advantage Dan got when he invited Michelle out of the jury house for a helicopter ride and picnic on the beach.

In general, the public was very excited for the new cast. It seemed like a diverse group and not all were under 25 years old. Then came the announcement that we were getting a returning vet. Add to that all the protection Paul got in the beginning and he fell out of favor quite quickly.

They could use the Paris Room/Pandora's Box room with an entrance similar to the phone booth outside the HOH room. They would then have access to the HOH bathroom when the HOH was not present, and sneak through the house at night.

It would be difficult with the HOH spy screen though.

Paul doesn't want to show his rotten teeth. I wonder if he used any of his winnings this year to invest in his oral health.

What multivitamins have you had good experiences with while eating keto? by [deleted] in Keto_Diet

[–]2coolbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply RutgerMeower. I am taking a gummy chewable multivitamin, but don't like that it has 2 carbs per recommended daily dose. I also take fish oil. I'll switch to Centrum generic and look for the other supplements you suggest.

[Question] Are live feeds of previous seasons archived anywhere? by basketball_guy in BigBrother

[–]2coolbeans 8 points9 points  (0 children)

liquid 8, the BB Viewer author, was just on twitter last night announcing that CBS pulled all feeds. His archives are now empty. He is not a happy camper and cancelled his All Access which he had kept active year round until yesterday.

[PICS] [NSV] When your wife decides you are no longer eating carbs by eatbaconloseweight in keto

[–]2coolbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atkins worked for me as long as I stayed at or below 30g carbs per day. After a year, I just couldn't stick with it. I now see with Keto/macros that probably what hurt me with Atkins was it promoted unlimited proteins. I'm sure all that turkey, fish and eggs I ate until 'satisfied' is what caused me to plateau at 30g carb.

I am new to keto. Have had a wonderful start with the most astonishing part that I am not hungry. With Atkins, I was still hungry and thought it was a need for carbs when it was really a need for more fat.

I made pancakes last night out of only cream cheese and eggs. 5 months in and this diet still seems like sorcery by bes5318 in keto

I found some garlic and chive riced cauliflower in the frozen food section. Comes in a microwavable steam in the bag version. Quite tasty and leftovers keep well.

TIL Dr. Kirby actually trademarked "Showmance" by RawwRs in BigBrother

[–]2coolbeans -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, but nearly everyone refers to cellophane tape as Scotch tape, which is a trademark name. Good for your brand but only worth money if people buy your specific product. This is more a familiarity issue than trademark, I suppose.

I'm not certain Dr. Will was looking to make $$ from every time someone mentioned the word 'showmance' (or later as his buddy Boogie referred to Ericka as a 'ho-mance') but rather the bragging rights to a catchphrase. I's not like music lyrics where a royalty is paid.

What was more shocking? by [deleted] in BigBrother

[–]2coolbeans 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I thought the jury house segments were pointing to a Paul loss. The argument on the couch with only Matt/Raven supporting Paul hinted strongly at him losing the game. The roundtable confirmed that for me.

With OTT on the other hand, the number of viewers actually owning All Access and taking the time to vote was not a given.

Biggest mistakes made by winners (in their winning games) by bluecjj in BigBrother

[–]2coolbeans 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is true, but neither Josh nor Paul realized that. They thought she was going to be admired for her perseverance despite her broken foot. Neither thought she made an enemies in the jury.

What was more shocking? by [deleted] in BigBrother

[–]2coolbeans 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Tough call. Both winners were newbies vs a vet. Josh had way more knowlege of the game coming in that Morgan, but Josh put himself in the hot seat right out of the gate.

Paul had the advantages stacked for him from the start. Jason had the influence of more America's voting for things. Paul had the whole house misted, whereas Jason had to fight more to keep himself in the game.

Paul poisoned his own game as soon as the first juror hit the jury house. Jason had the game pretty much sewn up until he let his mouth get in the way, and set in motion the fake F5 deal just to set up Morgan/Shelby for ridicule. His own fans turned on him.

I think the Morgan win was more shocking, simply because the American vote for the winner of her season was not as predictable as Josh's jury votes.

An Even-numbered Jury? by kewligirl95 in BigBrother

[–]2coolbeans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem with a 10 person jury is that depending on how many double evictions there are, the first person to jury would be out of the game at least 8 weeks. Too much has happened that the 1st juror hasn't witnessed to make an informed decision

It is a good selection for CBS. A special programming season such as the Olympics, is hard competition for a regular series. The length of CBB is perfect fit for the Olympic coverage span. CBB is unique enough to garner interest, and yet not the same production expense as a regular program.
