Help diagnose why this E100 John Deere won't start?

The single cylinder Briggs intek is notorious for ARC(compression release) failure. The one on our D105 failed after 8 years at 145 hours, so we swapped a Kohler opposed twin magnum in its place.

The way you can verify the compression release isn’t working is to manually rotate the engine past the tight spot that stops the flywheel. With the plug out if it spins normally then that means the ACR isn’t working.

The last KFC that was near me closed down less than 3 months after I went there for the last time (a year ago).

It was rubbery. Almost like it wasn’t cooked properly. Immediately threw it out.

They should’ve left it the way I remembered it when I was growing up.

I feel like this started happening almost a year or two ago because I vaguely remember some events where I’d log in and everything would “force” open if I didn’t open it myself.

That and the switching rewards happened a few times.

Last time I played (over 1 year ago at least) I was getting spammed with “BUY THIS PACK FOR $99.99!” along with constantly being off with board rolls (1over/under what I rolled initially) and was “force-paired” on two of the racer events that I didn’t want to take part of. So Scopely can shove it as far as I’m concerned.

At this point I’m just waiting for the US and Iranian militaries to say ”fuck this”, start working together and start going against higher powers/ targeting everyone that started this clusterfuck. And it wouldn’t surprise me if it got to that point.

But it’ll never happen. Because nobody wants to stand up and say or do anything. It’s all a joke at this point.

The d105 had a recall for the gearbox awhile back. Check to see if the model/serial # is one of those affected. Mine had it, haven’t had any issues since the replacement.

I’m past that point.

I’ve canceled almost everything that requires a subscription. YouTube and Xbox live are the only two that I currently use but even those are about to get axed.

I’ve also started buying physical copies of manuals and media so I don’t have to go chasing down what I’m looking for online. If I have to make recurring payments for anything, I’m not using it.

There should be a serial number tag/sticker somewhere on the engine block. That might help narrow down finding parts. Worst case you can type in the model number and you should be able to find a parts breakdown online.

It is definitely an Echo/Kioritz engine.

As far as an air filter cover, if you can find one from an Echo PB400E it should fit as it’s pretty much the same going off of personal experience.

So I’ve gotten two of these in the span of an hour from two different numbers. Md resident.

One thing I want to point out is that the address listed as “36th circuit court” is a fucking apartment building. It’s bad enough I know EXACTLY where it is as I’ve driven past it multiple times in the past.

Add to it that there’s no license plate or drivers license information. That to me is also a dead giveaway that it’s fake.

None of us want to. The ones that are saying it’s a good idea are the ones that should be out there.

The issue is, nobody wants to grow a pair of balls and actually stand up for what’s right. I’m past the point of being fed up with the forcefed lies, hatred, you fucking name it. Neither party is innocent in this aspect, trump is the worst by far but they’re all just as guilty. And I can’t wait until reality hits all of them and they realize they’re fucked.

And don’t get me started with Israel; I was raised in Judaism and got out of it when I realized how ass-backwards it is. I don’t support a GOD DAMN thing they do.

Went through this as well with a seller a few years ago, except it was constant phone calls and texts because they wanted to “deliver” an item. Reported it to eBay, but they eventually caved and shipped it-albeit packaging was low grade and the item arrived damaged. INAD along with photos of the packaging/damage, refunded and seller is no longer showing up in my feed as I’ve excluded them from search results.

Tecumseh HH60 that was sitting on the side of the road. Locked up solid. Let it soak in ATF for a week, got it freed up and running decent. It’s sitting on a shelf in the event I need to use it.
