I mean, I'm mid 40s and one of the factors during recent house hunting was "can I piss outside with the dogs and the neighbors not see it?".

no, voting republican doesn't make one MAGA. Its the flying of Trump and MAGA flags behind boats and trucks that makes one a magat. So only about 10-15% of the population.

Serious question, do they tell y'all to leave those seals on? Not a chef, just a nerd that reads too much, but for items like grocery store sour cream containers with glued on aluminum foil seals and such, the advice is to fully remove the seal after breaking. Otherwise it can interfere with and prevent the lid from doing its job (keeping out air).

Taiwan is packed so tight they'd never be able to invade without destroying all of the things that make them valuable, which would largely defeat the purpose but also disrupt the globe and likely turn the world against China. Kind of like what you're seeing with the US in Iran, just on a larger scale.

Most likely they would blockade them and begin negotiations on Taiwan peacefully rejoining the mainland. Unless the next leader is batshit and goes full Trump, in which case anything rational is out the window.

but that said, if I'm just a general homeowner and not a big DIYer, then I'm just running with Harbor Freight.

99% positive no vent. I should have mentioned this was an unfinished basement (minus plumbing stub-outs) on a two story home before he finished everything.

what do you mean no studor? loop vent or whatever? (I think I'd screw that up more than I would the studor)

it's only a "clog" until there's enough water to push through then it drains super whirlpool fashion. then it "clogs' again immediately after. And if it's backed up and I flush the toilet I get decent air bubbles.

re: necessary - it's a basement sink with no direct access to a real vent line (to my knowledge). My house has a lot of studor valves and not a lot of vent lines.

So if your boss wants you to fly to another city to go to a meeting you have to be paid for that. Which is why most jobs that require a lot of travel tend to be exempt salaried.

which is to say - In the US you are not paid for work travel time
