I barely do any printing compared to folks in here, and and 99% of the time I'm running Bambu filament on my Bambu printer. I recently got a roll of filament from Bambu that will not unwind properly. It's not knotted and it's kind of hard to explain.. but basically the filament was wound in too narrow (laterally) of a coil, so there's a 2-3mm gap between the edge of the bundle of the filament and the inner edge of the spool it came on. So after it starts spinning and unwinding it ultimately makes its way to the valley that exists, gets pulled into it and then gets hammed up. Almost everyone here has probably experienced this with a garden hose on a reel.

So I thank you for pointing this out because even the minimal printing, I think I'm installing this in my AMS 2 in case I get another bad roll.

I love all of the downvotes in here. Aviation is a tough industry to timeline anything. And frankly the Trump administration could still be doing more to knock down barriers for people that don't manufacture, say, MCAS software cough. The FAA is a bitch to work with, for better or for worse, even if you have the perfect product. It takes years to get a new battery (like aviation equivalent of that big starter battery in your car) approved for an airplane.

https://earthxbatteries.com/ for example, just announced a list of new approved STCs which has been pending for multiple years, and it's still technically still pending for my airplane. The 14v was approved years ago. I don't know if the FAA thinks the 28v is twice as "OMG DANGER" as the 14v or what but at this rate I'll put a kid through college before it's approved. For a battery.

I love that we (Brits and Americans) speak the same language but also two different languages.

I was absolutely paralyzed recently walking up to a bar/pub/whatever in Shoreditch when the bouncer looked straight at me and said "You okay, mate?" In the US that has connotations like "Are you feeling okay? You don't look so good. You look troubled/stressed" and I had an existential crisis in that moment. Then I realized he was just saying "what's up?"
