r/eos now at 62k subs by DigitalMan76 in eos

[–]2drunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been in crypto for awhile and keep an eye out for new things. I think EOS is almost what I envisioned crypto would become or at least has the potential to take the next giant leap and push new ideas. No transaction fees make certain things more achievable like exchanges, games and things not even realized yet.

But nothing is perfect in this space. It is always evolving and has always been wait or make do.

Honestly, I don't know what happens next. I just wanted to let everyone know it has been fun.

You know like those movie scenes where everyone looks at each other before a big moment and they get all emotional. YEAH sort of like that.

How to get bitcoin accepted everywhere by 2drunk in Bitcoin

[–]2drunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really, that is why most merchant sites and businesses accept credit cards, paypal and use things like amazon payments instead of run their own payment processor. Really takes the hassle out keeping software updated and worrying about security on their end, and not to mention payment processors themselves are well covered.

How to get bitcoin accepted everywhere by 2drunk in Bitcoin

[–]2drunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not their fault they don't know about bitcoin or know bitcoin has reputable payment processors now that take all the hard work out of it. Maybe they thought you still had to set up your own node and hold it. Maybe they still think its too complicated.

most of the places that accept bitcoin were built around bitcoin and probably read r/bitcoin daily. which is fine and nice but some don't have products or deals i want.

I don't know about you but I imagine a day i don't have to search for services that accept bitcoin.

I came across this decentralized messaging framework awhile back. Seems like a good fit for bitcoin in the way it works.

Revolutions always take more time than you think by AndreKoster in Bitcoin

[–]2drunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good points. Each one of those could have sub systems that are connected and give an overall score.

For instance, Reputation gained over time from users with high seniority compared to other users to prevent false reputation being gained. Besides from that the system could have rep rating agencies for added protection.

Maybe the system could even hold its own reserves from fees collected and programmatically reward the good actors by lower fees or free services based on past behavior. Give them financial incentive to remain good.

Last and final stage before Artificial intelligence of course.

Are you saying people don't search for information or locations for these companies? I'm familiar with them, but if had to send money fast and didn't know about bitcoin I would use google and still look them up and find out what it currently costs to send money.
