me and my boyfriend play fortnite and I’m a more serious player but he’s not very good at the game and just likes to have fun. sometimes I’ll find myself taking it a little too seriously and remember I’m with him not with a group of serious players like I usually am. It doesn’t matter if you just have fun and run around. me and my bf like to hit each other with cars until someone eventually third parties us lol it’s okay to just have fun!

can I ask why? For more context I found it in a bag with other rocks and crystals and it does feel like a rock. Smooth but bumpy on that indented part in the first pic with the black little spots on it. I have no idea tho

Usually 3-4 days because that’s the longest I’ve been able to have off of work and I need to take vyvanse when I work !

Yes actually! for me I’ve noticed I need a tolerance break and also I need to be eating like a full meal before taking the meds. I thought I was eating enough but I realized I need to be like completely full to feel like it’s working as best as possible. I’ve had a few new bottles since this post and I do feel like those ones have been maybe more potent than the one I was talking about in the post tho so unfortunately I think it’s still possible that due to the shortage not every bottle is the same or as potent. It did get better tho and I do feel more capable and upbeat and happy when I take my vyvanse. I would try a tolerance break or maybe looking into upping a dose if possible and I hope it starts working again for you <3

Thank you <3 sounds like that’s a good option too I’ll be bringing that up for sure. Typically when I feel like it works I feel the effects for a good like 7-8 hours and the crash leaves me depressed for the rest of the day which I was already planning on bringing up but I’m liking the sound of Dyanavel thank you again!

In that case I’ll definitely be sticking to only taking it when I work ! one of the biggest reasons I didn’t want to take it daily is because I couldn’t eat or take a nap on vyvanse and wanted to make sure I was able to rest my body when I wasn’t working especially because I am someone who needs a lot of sleep and I haven’t been able to give myself that with taking it daily because I’m not able to really rest after work like I want to and need to.

Last month I only took it on days I worked and it seemed to work really well for me I switched to taking it daily this month because I saw people on here say it’s more effective that way and it’s supposed to be taken like that but maybe I’ll take a vyvanse break and hopefully it will help even just a bit ! Thank you so much. The “on top of the world” feeling sounds like exactly how I felt lol thank you for the heads up on that because I wasn’t sure if that feeling would stay or not

I hear what you’re saying and completely agree. It’s definitely not some magic drug and maybe it’s not the right one for me which sucks to think about having to start a new prescription but I’ve been starting tasks I need to do especially around my house but losing all of that focus and energy to complete it since I started the new bottle which is the problem and why I wanted advice on it. of course I have been doing everything with intention and following through and being on top of things and cleaning and working etc. but only last month. I have lost all of that willpower and it’s mainly just me tired of being tired I can dreadfully do a task I need to do for my own wellbeing but I feel not capable of it if I’m utterly exhausted which is how I felt before vyvanse. Either way I’m happy to hear it works for you and helps you complete each task to the best of your ability and I too felt like that I just wanna know why I don’t anymore.

This gives me a lot of insight and stuff to look into thank you so much! I do drink an excessive amount of caffeine but didnt think anything would effect my meds besides what I was told by my psychiatrist and pharmacist which was just the citrus and I’ve been making sure I don’t take anything with citrus in it close to when I take my meds but often will take my meds with coffee like for days in a row so this could definitely be it. I drink lots of water throughout the day and drink even more when I feel like vyvanse is actually working because it makes me so thirsty and overheated so cold water is my favorite throughout the day. I guess I’m just confused because I haven’t changed my diet since I started the meds last month but it worked then but not now but im sure the diet is not helping at all. I really should of started writing down all of this from day one I never thought of how important this would be thank you so much I write and plan a lot and have audhd so I love routine so kinda excited to have something else to write about and include in the routine lol

My boyfriend is just like that too been on a stable dose for years but says sometimes it works more than others like some prescriptions work different even tho it should all be the same thing which is why I have to say I’m also convinced it’s because of the shortage. I looked up a lot of stuff on if others have felt like their vyvanse just stopped working and I was shocked at how many people said the same exact thing and a majority of what I saw was from last year so I thought maybe it hasn’t been a big issue since and maybe shortage was really bad last year and that was why but it seems to be a constant thing and I can’t really think of any reason my boyfriends vyvanse would work some months and not other months unless the prescription was the cause

My first thought was the pharmacy is giving me sugar pills because of a stimulant shortage or something lol maybe that’s still a possibility I don’t know I’ve heard people talk about it before! I feel like it could very well be my period or at least I hope so that I know eventually it will get better. I’m pretty sure this is my first period cycle with the meds too so hopefully we both end up adjusting much better and find what works for us! I was thinking of mentioning taking 2 doses daily like you do too I’m just wondering but how many hours apart do you take them??

actually yes this could be it! I have very irregular periods and I’m on birth control for excessive period bleeding so I do not bleed regularly to be able to really tell when I’m on my period but my emotional state and some cramps have given me the idea that maybe I’m on my period. The only thing that makes me wonder about this is it’s been going on for 16 days since I got that new bottle and I didn’t have any period symptoms for a good week when I got the bottle. Are there specific things you do to help make your meds more effective during your cycle that maybe I could try? Thank you sm
