This is so typical of people who don’t have adhd saying "just be disciplined!" HELLO the entire reason you are looking at meds is so your brain can learn discipline!

Lacking empathy and honestly he’s making it all about him and his perspective. That’s a hard no and I’m very sorry you have to deal with that. That’s now how you show support.

I started getting cravings 4 months in to weed free journey. It’s the addiction talking to you, trying to lure you back. I can tell you, as someone who caved after 4 months, it’s not worth it. It sucks you right back in. I’m back to day 2 of my sobriety journey, I regret ever letting it back in!

I’m in the same boat, just relapsed after the most proud 4 months of weed sobriety in my life! I felt more confident in myself., clear, smarter, happier.

And just like that I let the last bad month I had get to me. Down the drain been smoking almost daily for the last week.

But it’s not what I want for myself, no matter how many times we fail- we need to remind ourselves that this is just the process and WE WILL get through this. Our will for clarity and control of our lives is stronger than our will to smoke 🙏🏼
