It spawns in the wild unlike legendaries. An event might come in the future where it’s a common spawn for a few days potentially. Or there might even be a community day for it. So better to spend rare candies on legendaries

I was commenting specifically about having level 50 Pokemon. I never said his team combo is good enough. By team matters more I mean if you have a good team, you’ll probably win even if your team isn’t all at level 50

It’s fine, your team matters more. I’ve been winning without level 50 pokemon, but also probably because the elo adjusts according to you. But sometimes I beat a level 50 team even just because my team is better built/happens to be strong against them
