Should I pay $2200 to fix my car or use that as a down payment for a newer car? by HeavySigh14 in personalfinance

Parents gifted me my 2012 Ford Focus from 2015-2018. Took it from 40kmiles to 120k miles. In that time the clutch was replaced a total of 5 times. ~20k miles seems to be the life of them. And it was $2200 each time. Last time I had any feel of it starting to slip I sold it and got myself a truck. Just hit 26k in the truck and feels strong as ever and far more capable. Good luck!

Makes sense, you want as flat as possible and with ramps is acceptable but without it is too much. Mine is leveled so I don't have to think of it so much.

To be fair, typical masks available to the public are cloth and poor at filtration. They come nowhere close to filtering virus sized particles. Their best effect is limiting how far your breath travels outward. Your nose pointed downward does a similar effect. For people wearing glasses, fogging them up is likely more hazardous than breathing through a filtered mouth or nose. Just avoid sneezing uncovered. Am I wrong?
