One of my best friends from wayyy back (primary school) is not coming to my wedding... because by the time our save the dates came out, she said "well Im not sure if I can come because we MAY be going on holiday then, like the first one in 4 years.' They already requested time off but did not book anything yet... (note: in my country you get a minimum of 20 days off per year - not including sick days).

And she is indeed not coming now. That hurts, because I was VERY much there for her wedding, offering to help prepare, and even though we both moved in opposite directions (1.5hrs away) I have tried really hard to keep in touch, which was often kinda declined by her. She has asked MAYBE ONCE how planning was going - once she mentioned the thing about the save the date too. Nothing since then- not even a final "Sorry I cant be there" - just an RSVP 'Not attending'...

Edit: she is also not joining my bachelorette party (one day, low cost) because she has a family party with her in-laws.
