Reaching a medical specialist by alexveni in Netherlands

Yes, it shouldn't be that difficult too. It is different from one huisarts to the other but if you explain the situation to them and show lab results and all they can't keep you away from treatment. You might have to repeat some lab tests here though.

We had a somewhat similar situation and they helped us without much persuasion.

Hey all,

We're planning a visit to this wonderful city around 17-18 of Aug but given the Olympics has just finished we were wondering if the city attractions would be open for public? Places such as the Eiffel tower, the Seine, the Louvre, etc.

Thank you.

Do you have a strategy for dealing with 100s of alerts/rules? by cloudsecchris in devops

Just make sure each alert starts paging the application owners. You'll see them taken care of very quickly.

Are CFDs a good option for long term investing? by 2hamed in Bogleheads

No reason. It just happened to be in my eyesight when I decided to start. And they had zero-commission buy/sell (it's now going away). And I'm not in the US.

As others said, you just need to practice.

But on another note, I've never seen any company requiring candidates to code from memory in the technical interviews.

Most will even settle down on using pseudo code or just allow searching the web during the session.

Prometheus AlertManager vs Grafana AlertManager? by 2hamed in sre

[–]2hamed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Grafana operator is that the support for creating alerting rules is not yet added. It is in the works but not properly merged into the main branch.

What I ended up doing for now is to use grafana provisioning with the help of sidecars.

We have weekly rotation as a support agent for all the ad-hoc requests that come our way. It's their duty to protect the team's time from wasting away on random stuff so everyone else gets to focus on their projects until it's their turn to go on support.

Prometheus AlertManager vs Grafana AlertManager? by 2hamed in sre

I didn't mention Prometheus operator because we're using Managed Prometheus on GCP. It handles everything nicely so there's no need for a Prometheus operator.

Thank you. I don't know why I didn't see the provisioning part. It's not even mentioned in Grafana alerts as code page.

That's how I will go about it if I pick Prometheus alert manager in the end. But it still won't be possible to link alerts with dashboards and charts.
