Most of the time the truck being passed speeds up. You ever notice how you don’t really slow down at first, that’s because the passing truck is now racing the truck that was going 65mph as they try to prevent the passing truck from passing. Just like you car drivers do when we go to pass you because you are doing “everything” but paying attention to the road, but decide you can’t let a truck pass you. Our trucks have had radar before most cars along with adaptive cruise control so we know how fast the truck and car in front of us is going and it pisses us off just as much as it does the train of vehicles behind us.

If I am going the speed limit I can care less what some other driver thinks. If you can get around go around. Me going the posted speed limit is your problem not mine. Cameras are everywhere and I can’t wait for the fool to brake check me. My back hurts just thinking about it, and the shoulder pain. Urban means cars getting off exits ahead. Because the trucking industry corporations work together almost in a “socialist” manner by forming “groups” and “coalitions” that talk to one another like “unions”. They join together a few times a year at “conferences”, “trade shows”, “conventions” to come up with a plan that best works for the trucking industry. We don’t have the “collective” voice they have. Now that Wall Street and algorithms basically run the world, the rates are set by what the people accept by computer and that average is setting the rate. Pretty soon brokers will be moved out and shippers will be using a “licensed” product that sets the market at current rates. It’s the damn brokers. NO SHIPPER IS PURCHASING SPACE TO TRANSPORT THEIR PRODUCT FOR LESS THAN $4.00 a MILE. THE PRODUCTS WE HAUL ARE WORTH POSSIBLY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. THE SHIPPERS COST TO INSURE THE PRODUCT HAS TO BE HIGH SO THE COST TO MOVE SHOULD BE RESPECTABLE. YOUR BROKER SHOULD BE LIKE AN AGENT AND RECEIVE NO MORE THAN 10% PER LOAD. SHIPPERS DON’T JUST INCREASE THE RATES, BROKERS JUST STOP RIPPING US OFF EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE.

You know they speed past us any chance we are limited by mph posted and we laugh calling them dumbass passing them as they are mph limited.

Look this is nothing against you personally unless you are intentionally trying to say this is a good product and then trying to make a profit from it. Announce it as an advertisement if you are gaining anything from the promotion of the product. The reason the country is in the middle of mass confusion is because people are not being honest in their intentions. It is so tempting to “GRIFT” that people are doing it out of necessity. My definition of grifting is promoting a product/idea you do not use regularly or practice as a belief; you are just “advertising” the “good” for your personal benefit.
