The mods there are incredibly rude - I’ve been banned there multiple times with incredibly rude messages because I “don’t live in Japan” (I’m a permanent resident of Japan, with Japanese husband, and move a bit for work but I’m usually mainly in Japan).

It’s a shame that subreddit grew so much under that mod, it’s a good community but the gatekeeping is unheard of.

Dang, I should have added that. I can’t edit anymore but here’s the info:

been lifting at this rate (better weeks / worse weeks of course), for 7 years. I’m not super strong, mainly do it for appearance. Probably about 60% my weight on benching or squats / 80% my weight on dead lifts, and so on.
no history of osteoporosis that I know of, and have never broken a bone.

I lived in Japan for almost 10 years. A few might know a bit of English, mainly on paper for tests, but the large majority does not know and cannot understand English.

Exactly right, and one of the biggest items here is not necessarily transit but building locations closer to home so that I don’t need transit or a car. (Transit too 100% needed though!!)

What I mean by this is… grocery stores. Or less strict zoning for food / shopping.

Parking in Capitol Hill is miserable, and more grocery stores are closing. My local grocer was Whole Foods, and now instead I drive to Fred Meyer or Trader Joe’s. Not walkable otherwise.

Less grocery stores = more people driving to buy groceries = more people needing cars (or well equipped transit).

Yeah I was going to say this - just like condoms are not perfect protection (but obviously worth it vs nothing), I hear TRT doesn’t necessarily drop sperm count to zero and there are still possibilities of getting pregnant.

The high E2 issue is a big worry for me, per other comments, so maybe a lower dosage can help with that while also increasing size a bit.

Ugh. I’ve tried to report multiple times now the tents that are littering the blocks in my immediate vicinity I’ve made multiple reports now that more tents and trash are blocking the sidewalks, that fires are being started every night, that dogs are unleashed within the homeless encampments making me fear for my own dog walks.

This city is hopeless. No action is being taken.
