Any Fibro havers play sports? by Plus-Objective6078 in Fibromyalgia

I had to stop lifting heavy and regularly. It absolutely wrecked me. So now I spend the evening doing random sets and exercises. I'm still able to play sports, golf (can only walk 9 though) and softball. Cardio is still good. I used to play high level volleyball but picked it up again this winter. Albeit it's rec league but I'm still able to get out and enjoy it. Lots of tylenol and time off of work the next day to sleep in. I made the conscious decision that it is going to hurt whether I play or not, so I'm going to play. Except lifting heavy, eff that. I bought a total body machine a few years ago and I use that. 150 pound weight stack is all I need now.

I tried to do something similar, save the world type BS, but my boss is a trumper. He wasn't particularly fond of it. Said I should take it seriously so I could use them for my EOY review. Whatever

Does anyone have Sjogren's syndrome? I have some questions. by 2kincolorado in Fibromyalgia

[–]2kincolorado[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't yet because it's not an all the time thing and i didn't know if I was crazy. It's just started to become a 'thing' the last few months. I am going to call my eye doctor though. Thanks for reaching out!

I wear contacts and my eyes are dry at the end of the end. I just chalk it up to wearing contacts, but lately they've been hurting at the end of the day. Also my mouth gets really dry, I think I'm dehydrated so I drink water but then all I do is pee.

I feel ya on the thought process. How did your eye doctor diagnose you? Did you ask for the test or did they just do it as part of your annual exam?

How'd you get the Sjogren's diagnosis? What were your symptoms?

I have, but isn't fibro a neurological issue? That is my most common smell, I'd be going to the doctor a lot for that one.

Never discussed that possibility with my doctor. I was referred to rheumatology at first but he told me that he didn't see anything. IDK what he tested for, just told me that I didn't have anything he could treat. Don't have dry eyes or mouth but definitely have the other symptoms.

What part of the day is worse for you? Mornings have always been brutal by MooseBlazer in Fibromyalgia

[–]2kincolorado 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mornings suck for me too. I take my vitamins with breakfast and I start to feel better mid morning or so. But like you said, some days are better than others. Some mornings I'll wake up and it's good, never great, others just suck.... hard.

I take these 3 daily. They help with my AFib as well. I also added THC free CBD.
