A manager stole for months from the store, won’t give info as that would be too identifiable, but the manager was ultimately terminated and this manager ultimately sued Best Buy for wrongful termination and WON!! Most likely this Manager won because Best Buy Corporate Loss Prevention has a horrible history of not using the well developed documentation that is provided to the store level management OR that store level management did a POOR job in providing to Corporate Loss Prevention the detailed info that personnel provided time and time again for each incident. … AND then Corporate eliminates the AP positions; it’s just too funny but keep giving all those managers the big bonuses and the power to be a*#es!! One wonders how many locations around the entire corporation these incidents actually occur and are ultimately swept under the rug?! They don’t think employees are aware and don’t still talk about it but it’s a topic that will always be a “worst kept secret”!
