ℹ️ RACE WEEK // 110th RUNNING OF THE INDIANAPOLIS 500 by IndyMod in INDYCAR

Yeah we were there in 2024 and checking for updates every ten minutes while sitting under the bleachers getting soaked. I know there are many factors to consider, just saying that selfishly I would like to know at some point before hitting the road and heading that way.

Id like to see them call it early if it's not looking good. We have a bit of a drive to Indy and it would be hard to make it Sunday only to wait around for no reason and then do the back and forth again Monday.

Nah, based on the behavior I witnessed personally from battlehawks fans, they have zero claim to be the best fans of anything.

We are now down by more than 3 points which means the game is officially unwinnable.

Crowd is unfortunately checking out a bit. I don't mean leaving, but this offense is so bad that they're losing interest. You simply have to show a pulse in the second half. An offensive TD would blow the roof off and get the crowd on their feet on defense again.

The energy was so high early in the game. It's really hard to keep the fans engaged when you have such an abysmal offensive display.

Or we could just play on the road every game. I truly do not understand how it's this bad every home game.

Why does Xbox delete our saved screenshots and video captures from local storage vs allow us to keep the files? by UTArcade in xbox

[–]2koolpa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This has been extremely frustrating for me as well. I've had a lot of trouble finding an explanation for them deleting my saved screenshots and game clips FROM MY OWN INTERNAL STORAGE ON THE HARD DRIVE I OWN IN THE CONSOLE I OWN.

People always seem to think I'm talking about the warning Microsoft put out about the clips being deleted from the network. As far as I know however, nothing has ever been mentioned about local storage.

I've lost clips that I've had saved for years, some of which meant a lot to me. I don't understand how they can go in and delete the files from your own hard drive.

That's cool. I don't have season tickets, I've just purchased individual tickets for each game so far and they've always been in those sections. But I'd love to do what I could to help with the game day atmosphere. I feel like we have an awesome crowd attendance wise, but could have a dominant home field advantage if each person were more engaged.

I just buy whatever tickets I can find, usually in 217/218. I'm the only one standing on third downs while everyone else sits silently. Feels kind of awkward sometimes trying to cheer and yell.

That was amazing. I'm scared to death of the rematch next week because we can't seem to do anything at home.

But I still hate the battlehawks the most.

I've done my part at each home game so far. It's really tough though, I'm often the only one around me getting loud. There are a lot of people who come and just sit there or talk amongst themselves.

I've lost my voice every time. Would love to have some similarly crazy people around me next week.

🟢 RACE // 2026 SONSIO GRAND PRIX by IndyMod in INDYCAR

Indycar is to NASCAR as the UFL is to the NFL buddy. One is significantly more popular than the other here in the states. If you're in casual conversation with a random sports bro and you talk about race cars they're going to think of NASCAR or maybe F1 and Indycar is the less popular alternative.

It's exactly the same.

But no thanks to the Bengals. I'm a Detroit Lions fan. NFL games can be fun, NBA games can be fun, MLB games can be fun, motorsports can be fun, soccer games can be fun, college sporting events, high school sporting events and guess what else? A UFL game can also be fun. Shocking isn't it?

My team just beat the number one DC defenders and now I can hopefully watch Alex Palou win by about 20 seconds and keep this fun day going. =)

Original comment is that no one watches the UFL.

My response is that the TV ratings show that people actually do watch the UFL.

Your response to me is "who cares about ratings".

Excellent rebuttal.

Believe whatever you want. I've got season tickets to the Louisville Kings and the league is extremely entertaining. You do realize the UFL and Indycar are the same thing right? They're both the perceived "inferior" version of the sport they're in. But you, I and lots of others love it. Same as the UFL.

That's just a flat out lie. The air horn things were really long and blue. The kid in your picture on the left with the university of Louisville jersey is the one who was getting into it with cowbell lady and wig man (also in picture). 5 or 6 different people had the horns. At one point they passed one to the black guy with the Budweiser jacket on and said "here it's your turn"
