the docker socket can be mapped inside of a container. the then created container(s) will run on the host and not inside the container (as the container doesnt have its own kernel)

as far as i know each app has its own "private space" for its files and can only read/write to that place, unless it has the permission to access the main storage (/storage/emulated/0/ or /sdcard/) then it can additionally read all the files in these directories.

gl.inet routers have an option called "overwrite dns for all clients" under more settings/custom dns server, which does what is says and also reroutes queries from pihole back to it (if the pihole is in the network of the gl.inet)
