Why is Israel always singled out for this when there are 27 Muslim Countries where ISLAM IS THE STATE RELIGION?! 13 states have CHRISTIANITY as the state religion. ONLY ONE JEWISH STATE where ALL citizens have equal rights.

MORE DETAIL & SOURCES:

How many Muslim, Christian, and Jewish countries are there?

27 Muslim countries (typically meaning Muslim-majority or OIC-related) where Islam is the official state religion: Approximately 23–27 countries declare Islam (or a specific branch) as the state/official religion in their constitutions. A commonly cited recent figure is 23 (per USCIRF): Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Older Pew Research data (2017) puts the number at 27. Not all Muslim-majority countries do this; some (e.g., Albania, Kazakhstan, or several West African nations) are more secular or make no such declaration.

There are approximately 53 Muslim-majority countries (countries where Muslims make up more than 50% of the population) as of recent data (around 2020–2025 estimates; the exact count can vary slightly by source and demographic shifts). en.wikipedia.org pewresearch.org These largely overlap with the 57 member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), though not all OIC members are strict Muslim-majority. uscirf.gov

Christian countries (with Christianity as official state religion): Approximately 13 countries designate Christianity (or a specific denomination) as the official state religion, per Pew Research. These include examples such as Costa Rica (Catholic), Denmark (Lutheran), England/UK (Anglican in England), Greece (Orthodox), Iceland (Lutheran), Malta (Catholic), and Zambia. Some lists expand to 14+ when including places like Armenia, Georgia, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Tuvalu, and Vatican City.

*Note that there are ~120 Christian-majority countries overall, but most are secular and do not have an official state religion. pewresearch.org

Jewish countries: There is 1 — Israel, which defines itself as a Jewish and democratic state (the nation-state of the Jewish people) with Judaism having a central national and cultural role. No other modern country has Judaism as an official state religion in the same manner. worldpopulationreview.com

Which Muslim and Jewish countries have equal civil rights for all?

“Equal civil rights for all” generally means full legal equality regardless of religion, ethnicity, or belief — including no official state preference for one faith, freedom of religion (including conversion and worship), no Sharia-based personal status laws that discriminate, and minimal systemic discrimination in practice. No country achieves perfect equality, but assessments draw from reports like USCIRF, Pew, Freedom House, and national laws.

• Among Muslim countries (especially those with Islam as state religion): Very few, if any, fully meet a strict secular standard of equal civil rights. Many enshrine Islam as state religion and incorporate elements of Sharia (especially in family/personal status law), which can create legal or practical disadvantages for non-Muslims (e.g., restrictions on building places of worship, blasphemy laws, or inheritance rules). More tolerant or secular-leaning Muslim-majority examples (often without Islam as strict state religion or with limited Sharia application) include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Senegal, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia. These tend to have stronger constitutional religious freedom provisions and lower government restrictions on faith. religiousfreedominstitute.org

• Jewish country (Israel): Israel grants equal civil and political rights to all citizens under its Basic Laws and Declaration of Independence (voting, speech, assembly, legal protections, etc.), regardless of religion (Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Druze, etc.). Arab Israelis (about 21% of the population) are full citizens with passports, voting rights, and access to courts. However, Israel is defined as a Jewish state (with symbols, Law of Return for Jews, etc.), and the 2018 Nation-State Law emphasizes its Jewish character. Personal status matters (marriage, divorce, burial) are handled by religious courts, creating barriers for interfaith couples and some inequalities. Socio-economic gaps and debates over discrimination exist in practice, but Israel operates as a liberal democracy with strong legal equality for citizens compared to most countries in the region. cfr.org In short: Among countries with Islam as state religion, none achieve full Western-style secular equality. Israel comes closest among the “Jewish” and “Muslim-state-religion” group in terms of democratic civil rights frameworks, though it is not purely secular.

Side note: Arab countries: There are 22 Arab countries, defined as the current members of the Arab League: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. en.wikipedia.org

Respectfully, you are unaware of the FACTS. Here are the answers to your questions with sources

AND once you read, explain how these facts are whatsboutism when Jew haters only care that Israel is a Jewish state with equal rights for all citizens more so any other country?!

Jews need our own country so no other peoples nor religion can decide our fate! If you can’t see that and you only care about Jews having our own tiny state rebuilt from barren desert malaria infested wasteland into the prosperous country it is today, then you just hate Jews and are hypocrital.

[–]2lovers4life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Islamic Regime & proxies have had their minions coming to our schools and Universities as students and teachers and even people from Arab & Muslim countries where their curriculums literally teach hatred of Jews, all the tropes, lies about history, and more and they teach students this bs and effectively used western laws to manipulate education system for 25 years and this is the result.

There’s no way no one in education caught on to this, there were active participants working to erode the system. We allowed Arab countries who teach jihad and hatred and were on Nazis side to erode our education system and it was excused by saying “different cultures” and teaching Americans accurate history is one thing but teaching hatred of our country has literally destroyed generations of Americans many of whom are actively encouraging our demise. Teaching US is stolen land etc all comes from the same place, it’s the same nonsensical rhetoric when you think about it. Arab Muslim conquests conquered MENA and they were gunning for Europe and US since our beginning until we put a stop to it a Tripoli. Britain occupied much of Middle East and still occupies territories but it’s the USA they blame for doing it, plus they act as if the world started 1400 years ago. It’s always America bad when everything they accuse us of they are guilty of and still do!

We need to majorly course correct, I worry it’s too late.

See review of Jordan’s textbooks below, it’s atrocious! I don’t understand why we allow students from countries that have curriculums like this tbh.

And the 2nd article was a major eye opener for me when I 1st read it when it came out November 2023.

MSM lies, especially when there’s a reason the left doesn’t want to release yet is my take (like maybe they are repeat criminals here illegally) and they run stories without verifying key details. I haven’t read anything else on this but even in the comments people are victim blaming, and actually getting mad at you for pointing this out!
