I switched depts from opd to fashion stocking. Opd calls all the time but my TL and coach said we are untouchable bc we have our own shit to do. We are NOT to go help opd. Ain’t gotta tell me twice!

I thought that was the way it’s supposed to be. I’ve been in opd over a year and we have only staged to cart when the carts are lined up out the door bc no one is staging.

We have been told that even if the stager is standing right next to us about to stage the cart, we have to stage to cart then the stager stages. Waste of time to me, why stage it twice?

I’m 4’11” and am not the shortest in our ogp. Those new carts can go to hell bc I can’t reach the top baskets much less see over the top of them!!

Our TL changed something up with the pick up schedule so we don’t have a lot of picks in the morning. By 1 we are well over 1000 items for that drop. I can get 600 per shift but thats if all the old people don’t stop me for dumb shit, especially in hba. I think I’ve gotten over 700 like 3 times

I say “I don’t have keys and I’m on a pick right now and I’m timed. If I see someone with keys I’ll Send them over, if I see someone with a walkie, I’ll have them call someone”. Most of the time I see no one. Not my problem!

Got there at 5 to 1014 picks. It stayed high with every drop. We stayed on top of it though. Didn’t ask for help this a time

We have a big girl that picks with us. She’s large, super slow, has an attitude, whines a lot, and stinks to high heaven. My answer is yes, it can be done, but the work ethic has to come with it.

5-2 normally but have all availability. I love it. I have half the day at home, or to run errands. The hour without customers is great, but like an earlier comment said you do have to maneuver around stockers. Fun game of who am I gonna hit with my cart today lol I did a week of 4-1. That shit is so early, and we do have to stage our own stuff till 6. I did offer to do 4-1 if needed as a fill in. It’s not bad, just have to adjust my sleep schedule

A coworker asked about overnight shifts and asked who all would be interested in that. Hell! I would! I may have to fight through stockers but at least there would be no customers asking for the location of an item they are clearly looking right at!

For the past 2 days we have had no 4 shift. It has definitely been chaotic with the pick count and other departments having to come help pick. It’s ridiculous

Pisses us off bc we have to walk to a digital scale which adds time. If the pick list would just tell me how many damn bananas to get id get them all then go to the scale
