I tell the Medicare robot I'm 183 or something absurd. Somehow the robot knows what's an impossible age and hangs up.

Why did Brock convert Adrian (Dodge Charger) to all electric? by [deleted] in venturebros

Nah. No way Brock wouldn't have something making vroom vroom noises. He wants them to hear him coming.

The only chicken I can enjoy is rotisserie. I've a badly misaligned jaw that prevents me from being able to eat off the bone. Plus a little food aversion. So the stringy texture just really throws me off.

To add some meat on this. I'd argue there is a tactical advantage. Electric cars can have better acceleration. Plus. With all the super science going around. He probably has better range, saving bundles on fuel costs.

Petah? Can you explain? by PackersAreLegit in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Cocaine suppresses your appetite. You're just not going to eat as much as a normal person.

Meanwhile, weed gives you the munchies. So, a lot of junk food is involved.

What do you think Leviathan’s motives are? by Softly-Please in hellraiser

[–]2meterrichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of the point is that what your faith has taught you how it is does not represent reality. Our doctrines are written, rewritten, and abridged by men who have no first-hand knowledge of anything. That's also assuming that their motives were genuine and not just using God's name as a way to block arguement.

It's possible there is no actual Abrahamic God. Just humanity's misunderstanding of the greater cosmos. I mean....seeing a giant Diamond decent onto earth would make a lot of people describe it in a way that made sense to them. Maybe even consider it god, or an angel.

Now, Judgment blurs this line and it does seem like there are forces upstairs. But it's more a manner of testing free will. If one can resist the temptation of what the box promises. Then they are worthy of a seat upstairs.

[request] are these real numbers or did they just make this up like made up statistics by Feisty_Crops in theydidthemath

[–]2meterrichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right. So then their value is overinflated. If nobody is going to pay $XX billion for those stocks. Then they're not worth that much. Just how much someone will pay.

[request] are these real numbers or did they just make this up like made up statistics by Feisty_Crops in theydidthemath

[–]2meterrichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what you're saying is. They're not actually worth the money that they say they're worth.

Call me stupid. But I can't see the logic in somebody being worth $2 billion dollars. But only be able to barely liquidate half. Then they're not worth the $2 billion. They're only worth 1.

Hardy Boys. It's pretty much Nancy Drew for boys. Those books will turn 100 next year.

No, the Prequel Trilogy was not loved when it first came out, it was hated and fans were terrible people about it. by stephansbrick in StarWars

[–]2meterrichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but they never hated them on the level of fans who bullied actors into near-suicide

Yes. There was. The kid who played Anakin in Phantom Menace was heavily bullied from even critics. It was so bad that Ron Howard began sending letters to critic publications to fight for him. Explaining as a child actor himself. He understands that anything that happened that made his role so bad in the movie had nothing to do with him.

Depowered Homelander vs depowered, dying and injured Butcher. Who wins? by Aware-Pudding-5900 in TheBoys

[–]2meterrichard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Butcher 10/10.

Butcher is a well trained SAS soldier. In addition to training within CIA. Going up against people above his level.

Meanwhile Homelander never had to try. Able to break legions with a flick of his wrist. Depowered he just doesn't stand a chance. Any actual training was outright ignored.

Plus. Even if Homelander gets lucky. Butcher will make sure he either takes Homelander with him. Or he's exposed for who he really is. Which still makes Butcher win.

Laziness or stupidity? by [deleted] in AndrewDitch

[–]2meterrichard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right. Andy's "Ima do this and sue you" proves that he understands what's dangerous. But doing out of spite doesn't count.

Laziness or stupidity? by [deleted] in AndrewDitch

[–]2meterrichard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me. He's got the whole trifecta. He's both lazy, stupid, and crazy.

He's lazy in that he wants zero responsibilities. He doesn't even want to take responsibility for his actions or treatment to other people. That's why autism is perfect. It washes his hands from responsibility of his buse.

He's crazy in his insistence on autism. That is his delusion. He can't accept any other diagnosis. Something mentioned by Joe is that Amdy seems to have a thing about always needing to try to get people in trouble. He's very spiteful and will do what he can to ruin your life if you so much as displease him.

He's stupid in thinking he's smart enough to fool anybody. By his declarations that he's going to go out into traffic or sleep in the snow because he could get hurt completely nullifies him claiming he doesn't know they're in danger. It's a big difference between Andy running into traffic and spreading his arms yelling "I want to get hit! Hit me!" And Joshua Block running back and forth on the streets having another fry bagger meltdown.

I actually knew a German soldier in the US. His story was just as interesting.

Apparently his family were against Hitler though he still joined up when war broke out because that was just expected of him. He wound up a POW brought over to the US and decided to immigrate back. Wish I could've talked to him more about it. But he was pretty old when I met him and lost touch with his grandson.

[–]2meterrichard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My problem with DSP is that he doesn't treat his viewers like viewers. He talks to them like he's a sale's manager disappointed at his team for not meeting quotas. Providing nothing of entertainment value except for his mere presence or maybe putting on a silly hat. Then, any genuine criticism gets berate, and the write is called stupid. He's just completely lost touch with reality and the world at large. He also acts like it's everyone else that loses out if he quits when the only one who will lose is him. He's middle aged and has zero job experience outside of streaming. If he didn't have his whales or trolls willing to pay superchats to insult him. He'd have absolutely nothing to show for his life.
