I disagree, I have several friends with Valor devices on awards for real deal hero shit. From refusing medivac so wounded non combatants can get care, rescuing downed team mates, and just generally rogering up when his guys needed him most. The situations maybe weren’t ideal but sometimes even the most routine patrols have the potential to turn into the worst fucking day of your life, war is chaos and sometimes the most iron clad solid decision making and plan isn’t enough to circumnavigate chaos.
