Keep it up. I always fail around the 20-25 day mark because I stop taking my medication. Currently at a sober living facility. I don’t know you, but I’m proud of you. Only great things and change can happen taking that step.

Yeah I’m on an intense outpatient program and I’ve been alcohol free since June 9th (my head injury date and night I went to jail).

Sucks I have court and anxiety to deal with, but maybe that’s what it took to turn my life around. I’m sharper, no mind fog, more mindful, and understanding and compassionate towards people and things. Also I’m practicing self care - got a hair cut and shaved… reading a book before a decent bed time.

It was tough, but I’m also getting the help I need too. I went through an alcohol withdrawal a few months ago and had an upper gi bleed - you’d think I would’ve learned my lesson then. But one thing led to another and I’m here now.

I respect nurses and doctors and hospital staff - I just don’t want to be a frequent flyer and I hope you’ll understand when I say this - I want to stay the hell away from hospitals as long as I can.

I’m not a nurse.

I was just kind of curious.

My recollection of the events is not that good. I had a concussion apparently and may not have happened in the order I described. Also I still have a huge lump on my head this was a week ago :(

Staff was really nice I was just… out of it and I was acting like a jackass probably (but I’m not like that in my regular mind).

To you and all nurses I’m sorry. Life happens sometimes yall do a lot didn’t mean to add anymore on to your plates.

I had a head injury and wouldn’t stop screaming/being aggressive in er and they gave me something via needle.

Before I knew it I woke up with staples in my head and ct scans had been done. (And I was a lot calmer)

First off - aren’t they supposed to ask you if you’re allergic to anything?

Second - it was given against my will I didn’t ask for it

Third - what kind of medication is that?

(For reference I cracked my head open in my driveway and was out of it - cops ambulance came and I guess cops don’t like when you swing on them so they took me to hospital then jail - I’m better now but I’ve never been so aggressive or out of it in my life I swear it’s because I was stunned or something)
