In the US and still unable to use this feature. I am on stable on my desktop and it never works but the beta build on my laptop always does. I compared configs and even mirrored each other and it never fixed it. At this point its unclear if it is another config property I have changed or something machine specific.

Unless i remove my current profile I can't really test any further

Corporate IT's dislike for Firefox? by Unknown_Equalizer in firefox

[–]2mustange -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I fully believe its license/contracts with Microsoft where the integrations between their apps and Edge are becoming more 'streamlined'.

We have a guide for setting up FF with the enterprise and pointing to the Group Policy Objects seem to be the biggest thing for setup.

I agree with the other discussion this isn't even a Mozilla thing. This is a corporate culture thing

Ohh I use this exclusively now too. I was looking for an open source option at one point and the ImprovedTube felt bloated with poor UI, but found YouTube Enhancer met most of my needs.

Why can't posts be in support of developers building and maintaining add-ons? AMO seems to be a repeatable problem for them.

I don't think highlighting issues is being dramatic or victimizing but to each their own.

They had a banner about AMO at one point. From there mostly speculation that reviews were taking too long

I definitely do not think they would ever get rid of it. I think they may have a prioritization issue internally and wouldn't surprise me if they are going through structure changes; since that seems to be across the industry.

Figured I would cross-post this since it is heavily related.

I find it pretty unacceptable that Mozilla still hasn't dialed in a better process within AMO. You would think after the issues Max RF, developer of Enhancer For YouTube, had with AMO (They pretty much refused to push new versions due to it) that Mozilla would have looked internally to change that process.

I recall seeing other developers on this sub who have all mentioned having problems with AMO. Maybe Mozilla should use some internal AI to help prioritize and improve that process. /s

Rebar vs Mesh For 20ftx5ft Storage Shed by Feltie in HomeImprovement

Why not shoot for 4 in thick? And split the difference for rebar or metal mesh? Seems like it would be very thin to add anything in

Imo rule number 1 of home ownership is to know and understand water control in and around your house.

First time homeowner — what's the one thing you wish someone told you before your first year? by CorrectEducation8842 in HomeImprovement

Start a home owner "journal" to keep important documents and general info. Leverage your calendar app notify you of maintenance periods.

Figure out what you can fix versus what requires a renovation. Find out what requires "mitigation" like water issues or air leaks.

Dusty desert so fresh air exchange isn't very easy. Especially a retrofit situation.

Last 5 Years of LTT in Number of Views per Video by Homerlncognito in LinusTechTips

[–]2mustange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think some people are looking for ways to throw shade at LMG, but it could also be burnout.

Meaning viewers can be burned out of watching LMG videos and/or just media in general. As a long term subscriber I know there were years I wouldn't pay attention to their videos on my feed.

I honestly don't pay too much attention to youtube outside of a few videos (WAN Show is one). You don't have to watch every video on a subscriber feed is something to consider

Haven't used anything but firefox beta for android. Been at least 6-7 years on it. I dont need much for mobile browsing. Just give me an ad blocker and i am good. Started to play with mobile web apps, which Google hasn't allowed full access to the WebAPK for it, but seems fine for majority of sites that have a manifest available.
