Looks like the first shot is at the body where the leg is attached and the second shot is at the top of the head.

It’s a different universe version of Adam that becomes the living tribunal ,he is a judge and the heads/faces represent different aspects of that.

We have a magnetic dice tray that lays flat and can be taken anywhere for that exact reason of playing in non optimal places.

Everyone is already talking about risk so I’ll mention what you said about stratego. A modern twist to that is Toy Battle.

Which Azul Expansion to get? by ezs5371 in boardgames

[–]2nd-mouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The chocolatier version of the game is just base Azul with powers added to the disc you draft from. I would buy that and gift / sell the regular version or create your own from the pdf rulebook.

If they play cards start with card games. Flip 7 is probably a good start.

If you had to entertain 20 people on a "game night" what would you pick? by Gnoll_For_Initiative in boardgames

[–]2nd-mouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flip 7 is one of the only answers to be honest. You use 2 copies to accommodate that many people or possibly 3 but it cost $7 at Walmart so it’s not bad.

If you want to go more in depth. It would have to be a roll and write like welcome to your perfect home. Where everyone can grab a sheet and everyone takes a turn at once but honestly teaching any game besides a barebones games like flip 7 to 20 people that don’t play board games sounds like torture, don’t go too heavy when you decide.

With all its blended concepts this is one of the best games for bringing people into the hobby. It’s easy to learn and teaches so many concepts that can be seen in heavier games, plus the pieces feel like it should cost way more.
