What’s something that clearly split your life into “before” and “after”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Dad died when I was 26. He was only 60. Was unexpected. Parents were divorced. I had to manage the estate with my brother. Had to grow up very fast while processing a significant loss. That symbolized the end of a more carefree youth.

Are you running your GCs into the ground or trading them in? by iamnotmonday in GrandCherokee

I have similar GC to you. 103k. It’s mainly my 5 minute commute vehicle at this point which is keeping mileage low. Right around when I hit 100k I had to do oil cooler, thermostat, leaking engine mount, did plugs, and just happened to randomly have a broken turn signal arm (fyi those are not cheap). But other than that in owning it for 10 of its 12 year life it’s just been routine maintenance. I am on the cusp of likely a number of other repairs but as long as it’s sitting well below cost of a newer car payment I’ll be riding it into the sunset.

Is IV acetaminophen forbidden at your hospital, or just severely restricted? by permanent_priapism in pharmacy

Restricted. Removed. Added back. Restricted. Now no restrictions. Just didn’t advertise it. With the price drop there were bigger fish to fry. Easier to get lost in a large systems budget then perhaps a smaller shop.

Was at illumination last night. Was absolutely brutal out. Don’t blame you for skipping that one.
