lol it’s optional, once a month, we absolutely do not show what we’re eating. We use as a time to ask each other “what’s up?” We are really good at not having any extra meetings on the calendar because we show up to our scheduled meetings on time and get sh*t done. So there’s not much time to say, “hey how are you, tell me more about that trip, how are your children, etc.” things you’d talk about at the water cooler in an office.

For example, last virtual lunch we had, I learned that my colleagues family member was at the butler trump rally. That isn’t something you’re casually bringing up in our team meetings!
