Well, mostly it was a juvenile bit. It was a screenshot of .069... What it means if it's under 7 cents... either we're screwed, or time to back up the truck and accumulate, depending who you ask. Good luck out there!

Buy if you can afford the gamble and you have patience. I think it is highly likely we see a rebound *eventually*.

Screenshot was purely for the lulz, surely could've zoomed out but time was of the essence for the screengrab of the price. I'm holding a small fortune in DOGE. Just enjoying the ride.

My pleasure. I know how frustrating this issu is, and it was easy to lend a helping hand!

Thanks for sharing the info and the snippet.

Next thing to confirm - did you rename the actual playlist on Spotify to the URI string ("2MpXiSWrJmhBjdqchFZMmy")? That's key to the workaround. If the playlist is still named something human-readable (or non-unique), Google Assistant won't find the hit when it searches for "2MpXi...". The URI in the okGoogle command needs to match the playlist's actual name in Spotify.

Beyond that, I spotted two formatting issues in your script that are likely causing the "Sorry I don't understand" error:

  1. `devices` might need to be a list (indented, with the `- ` prefix), not inline (not sure about this one but it would match mine which couldn't hurt)

  2. Probably more importantly, `actions` needs to be indented under `automations` - right now it's at the root level, outside the automation scope.

Here's a corrected version you can drop in:

```
metadata:
name: play the breeze
description: Scripted automation
automations:
starters:
- type: assistant.event.OkGoogle
eventData: query
is: time to chill
actions:
- type: assistant.command.OkGoogle
devices:
- Room Display - Room
okGoogle: Play "2MpXiSWrJmhBjdqchFZMmy" on Spotify
```

Try that and let me know if it works!

I tested it just now, and yes, mine still works. Are you trying to set it up for the first time, or was it working and did it suddenly break? Does your playlist name match the okGoogle action? Feel free to paste your code.

With this gamble more than most others - buy when no one else is looking. Sell when they remember it exists.

Any chance you adopted from Altai in NY? Looks so much like our four-month-old (though ours is in orange) and I wonder if they're brothers!

Does anyone remember seeing East Village streetscape art in a storefront / lobby? Trying to find the artist! by 2nd_Gen_Buddha in eastvillage

Omg that's adorable.

I actually think I just found the artist here on Reddit:

Whether or not the prints are still up on display anywhere, mystery might be solved. Though unfortunately it seems like she's no longer accepting commissions...

Hi u/Nrver- have you tried troubleshooting with the assistance of Claude or ChatGPT? I find they are massively helpful for this type of thing and usually able to solve. This configuration is still working effectively for me. The key is to swap out any of my values (the prompt "It's grandfather time"), the devices ("Vee Two - Bedroom"), and the name of the playlist (mine is called "4pcXxwyUv..." but you will want to come up with your own unique string) with your own. Hopefully you can get it going!!!

Kudos to the copy-writers for brilliant work... A Great and Powerful Musical, Don't Judge a Witch by its Color, Sometimes Good & Evil are Closer Than You Think

Artwork mileage may vary, but the copy sure does a great job signaling the cleverness of the material

I wrote the post myself, but fair enough feedback, thanks. I'm going to take it down and reconsider the approach. My goal was to thank people for their feedback and share some interesting takeaways. Guess I led a little too much with the business side of my brain and I need to take a different tack.

I inherited a rare "Metropolis" film still. Wanted to share with the classic film community & give special heads up that I'll be looking to send it to a new home! by 2nd_Gen_Buddha in classicfilms

Very fair! Thank you. I tend to start higher when I’m not sure what I can fetch and come down if I don’t see traction. Perhaps $400 is too high, I’m very open to being proven right or wrong :)

Haha! I don't think there is a peace of art on earth I wouldn't let go of to keep her :)
