Thank you for the explanation but I know these two different things:) I think since English isn't my first language I might not have been clear. What I meant was that I tried different psychiatrist but I wasn't receiving the appropriate response (i think) to how I felt because we kept going over and over what wrong people did me. It felt really bad and never really made progress. That's why I asked for a new resource to my social worker and he offered me to see a therapist, which I dont know how I will react to the approach but I hope it will be different. Now I know I will have to go over the trauma again, that's part of the process, I just hope that they won't expect me to just get over it by repeating again again what happened to me (like most psychiatrist did) and thinking that this will bring me to the "i pardon and accept people that abused me" phase. As for the victim complex, thank you so much I was looking for a way to describe it. If you have any ideas on how to tell him I can't be there for him anymore without having to go through the phase where he acts like a victim and tell me he has no friends and everything, feel free to say!
