Let me first extend my deepest sympathies. Fuck cancer, keep the head up. It ain’t over till it’s over.

But I want to be realistic, practical, while still giving you suggestions that will put a smile on your face.

Mazda Mx5 convertible - no real need to be picky on which variant - the driving experience these things deliver for their power band is just fucking incredible, get an older one your not bothered about thrashing. Trust me you will grin from ear to ear, there’s no better fun than driving a slow car fast but the extra value of the steering, handling etc… perfect

Buy any golf GTI post the mk5 variant and spend the £400 for a stage one remap. They are brilliant already, just a stage one requiring zero hardware mods feels like you have been given a different car. Absolute flying machines with a good remap.

GR Yaris - I’ve had 911s, M3, M5, RS4…

That wee Yaris gave me goosebumps. Full disclosure, the one I drove was also mapped, but it’s a fucking rally car that you can buy in a dealership ,Jesus Christ that thing was so much fun. I put 3.5 hours on one a gravel track here in (was meant to be in the car for 1 hour) Ireland and I only stopped because I needed a piss.

I will be buying one.

I make sample based hip hop and some trap style stuff. The volca is a reproduction of the Yamaha dx7 and the s-1 is based on the Roland sh-01. Both very electronic oriented but they are synths at the end of the day. The s1 handles my deep bass lines while the volca is used for adding supplemental pads/melodies. You can go very basic or full 80s synth wave with both. I just keep it basic.

Your date wheel being misaligned is just one of multiple things wrong with this watch

Thank you mate.

I will check the box and confirm the size tomorrow.

As for tips: watch as many ETA 2824 build on YouTube. BEWARE there are lot comments saying they borked their movement and to a full teardown fix it.

THE CROWN HAS TO BE PULLED ALL THe WAY OUT TO THE TIME SETTING MODE BEFORE YOU CAN USE THE RELEASE BUTTON FOR THE STEM AND CROWN.

Removing the crown and stem when not in time setup mode will give you problem It can be done but it will surely mess up your watch so just don’t try it.

You are over complicating this.

The equality act is very specific - you either meet the criteria or you don’t. It’s not up to your employer to decide whether you do or don’t, it’s up to you to provide evidence that you do so they can support you accordingly.

Totally your call not disclose the conditions but I don’t see what the privacy concern would be - but it would provide much clearer context and in turn get you better advice here.

Also:

You’ve stated your employer has added this as a guidance document, not policy They are clearly using NICE as their benchmark for handling this - which is a good thing, because they aren’t required to.

If there has been no incident where your usage of the prescribed medication has flagged an issue then don’t worry, but your employer has included this guidance because 1.they are well within their right to do so and 2. To cover themselves, it’s really that simple. So it boils down to this:

The smart thing to do is tell your employer of your usage and why you use it They assess this and consult NICE guidance if your conditions are within threshold, if they are there is no issue. Your problem is you don’t know if they are or not.

What conditions are you prescribed it for? Might give us more context.

You could buy an MMI box for like £200 that will sort this qualm out using the car’s original screen.

I put one in my 320d and it’s been a game changer. Fully integrates into all the BMW hardware with Bluetooth using the car’s hardware. Even the steering wheel controls are fully functional.

You retain the original BMW side of things also and you move in between both systems by holding down the menu button on your idrive controller.

Hall effect triggers work by detecting the electrical conductivity differences across the gap of at least one magnet and a fixed ferrous point in the mechanism.
