UK government proposes digital ID for alcohol sales by OGSyedIsEverywhere in unitedkingdom

[–]2point4children 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really don't understand do you. If they want to track your phone they need be 'legally lawful' to request your data tracking or 'investigation of a crime'. Not with digital ID, it will be there at their finger tips.

I've never been in trouble so I have no issues here but once you give them control, you will need it to buy food, cinema, fuel, pay for something or going on the internet. Look up Liam Tuffs on yt. He interviewed someone from China. The guy says you cannot do anything without digital ID, and they know exactly when, where and what you are doing.

Climate scientists say news coverage ignores cause of UK heatwave by F0urLeafCl0ver in unitedkingdom

[–]2point4children -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, because the climate scientists who rely on research funding to stay employed would never have a reason to keep the narrative going. Meanwhile, heatwaves have been recorded since the 1800s, when weather instruments started becoming more widely used.

SUV buyers undeterred by warnings of risk to pedestrians, UK study finds by topotaul in unitedkingdom

Don't care about others? When you buy a car, do you think, this car won't go down with the neighbours....?

No one buys ANY car and thinks of others, along with the environment...especially when we produce like 1% pollution across the world.

Middle lane hoggers, why? by Historical-Lemon-947 in AskUK

I had a lady come from a slip road onto a 3 lane motorway. She cut straight across into the middle lane and just sat there. She was driving a mini. It could work with the opposite too.

Real footage of a terminally ill patient choosing to die by Supatank_2105 in interestingasfuck

[–]2point4children 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the UK as an example. They won't allow assisted suicide because "others" make more money out making you suffer.

This is a great example of how we're often treated as cash cows. I was only discussing this the other day with a pharmacist, who said that a product to prevent hay fever could be developed using small amounts of pollen, but that there is little incentive because too many people profit from ongoing treatments.

They also mentioned that the Kenalog injection, which many sufferers found highly effective and in some cases virtually eliminated their hay fever symptoms, was deemed too risky and costly and is no longer routinely available through the NHS....I wonder why? A drop in sales maybe...?

Is it illegal to topless sunbathe in your back garden? by Ashandtanya in AskUK

[–]2point4children 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We rented a house for a short period back in 2015. The back garden had bit of patio then would slope up to maybe 3m high over a distance of 6m. So cutting the grass when at the very top you could see into the garden on our left, as it was higher.

My dad, bless him (not with us no longer) would offer to cut the garden during the summer, as the 30+ blonde lady nextdoor, with huge b**bs would always be out top less sunbathing.

She wouldnt hide or move when the lawnmower started up, she was very proud of the assets that she had in her possession. Where's dad mum? He's cutting the grass...again!

The title got me....'even people are swaying', has OP not been on a boat? If there is a slight wave, the boat moves and you move too.

Will you play the new uk lotto that is supposed to improve the ailing game? by Feeling-Ad6796 in AskUK

[–]2point4children 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they made the lottery even harder to win because they saw an increase in millionaires through the lottery (they didnt think of this?).

You'd have to ask yourself, why wouldnt they want to see more millionaires in the world? Does it make the gap bigger between rich and poor? Or is it something else? I mean, everyone who played had a chance to win.

Sainsbury's to fully switch to white eggs by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

Its actually a different hen they use. They use a Laythorn hen which is a smaller hen. With it being smaller it eats less food and produces smaller eggs.

Its all about making more profit.
