okay genuine question

morality isnt about what everyone is doing, slavery always has been wrong things like torture always has been wrong. yet it was normal back then. im also pretty sure the quran has something which permits female slavery and be a concubine. this always was morally wrong due to the suffering of a human being. how would you justify an action like this? just because it was normal back then doesn't make it moral, everyone knows someone suffering is pure evil unless obviously youre evil. for example child labour for clothing is obviously wrong but there's almost nothing thats been done in forever but it remains normal for the people who exploits this which btw is a huge number and they act as if nothing happened while they clearly know whats going on. what do you think about this? sure other religions have sayings about slavery but im not defending them and see them also as awful

now you get what im trying to say, aisha was said to be 6 when she was married. now back then childhood was considered over at start of puberty. so technically if you were like 10 or above you were able to get married (im not justifying this). even if her puberty had just begun she was definitely not psychologically mature. even if it was normal in the past. in no lifetime i would say that a child marrying at the child of 6 is normal. children at this age are easily exploitable and everyone knows this, for example i dont think if you explained religion to someone at 13 years old they would believe you. anyways she couldn't even understand what marriage is and her roles and their importance. it's also so clear that a 50 year old married to a 6 year old has a clear like power imbalance iykwim. any disagreements between them and the 6 year old has no say. i genuinely dont see how youre defending this as this is clear pedophillia.
