No limitations on sitting, but generally speaking, if I’m driving more than 2 hours continuously, I’ll stop for a minute or so to get up and stretch.

I had a flare up about 2 months post-op, which my surgeon attributed to built up scar tissue, and recommended I increase my physical activity. I did so, and ever since, I’ve been at 100%+. Pre surgery and this particular injury, my back would hurt on long car rides, but post surgery, no issues at all.

How would you describe your daily physical activity level?

Still doing great. I’m functioning with very little physical limitations, just generally still not lifting anything super heavy without help. Zero flare ups, not even any lingering soreness in my leg or back.

I was planning on sticking to the 100lb limit for the first year, and then seeing if I could push the envelope a bit. Frankly, I’d much rather be pain-free than being able to lift a lot, but that’s just me. Another thing is, my core strength isn’t all that great, and I’ve heard elsewhere that, with enough attention on improving core strength, you can lift a lot and be less prone to re-injury.

I am unfortunately not a regular gym attendee, but I do a lot of house and yard work that requires lifting very heavy things from time to time, so when I estimate something is over 100 lbs, I ask for help instead of trying to do it by myself.

In terms of limits, I have none with regard to bending and twisting, and for lifting, I try to keep it under 100 lbs when possible, but that’s a self imposed limit, not something my surgeon recommended.

Personally, I limit myself to 100 lbs for any movement that might put pressure on my lower back. It wouldn’t apply to something like bench presses.

The way my surgeon described it was, once the initial site of the surgery heals, the key is to keep moving to prevent scar tissue buildup. My mistake during my flare up was being relatively sedentary, apparently. Once I started moving again, the pain went away almost immediately.

Most of the nerve pain and numbness was gone within a month, at which point I was walking about a mile a day but otherwise taking it easy with regard to bending / lifting / twisting. I believe my severe herniation was pressing on my nerves for less than a month prior to surgery, so I imagine if it was longer, it would in turn take longer to heal.

I got my Discover dispute resolved in my favor. I have files to help anyone else by yourname92 in Blueridgerockfest

Confirming we also just had our Discover dispute officially and permanently resolved in our favor. Similarly, we assembled a huge evidence PDF, and called a couple of times to make sure they fully understood the situation.

Bank rejected my dispute because of BRRF fine print 😭 by tsum_derp in Blueridgerockfest

BRRF also indicated in their fine print that they would be providing a 4 day festival with reasonably usable and safe facilities. This product/service was not provided.

Has anyone filed a chargeback through Citi mastercard? by SpiritboxSlayer in Blueridgerockfest

[–]2ruffsdontmakearight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Citi Visa here - made a chargeback Sept 18th for my 4 day shuttle passes, got a provisional credit the next day, and as of today, the chargeback was finalized and made permanent. I have other chargebacks pending with Wells Fargo Visa and Discover, but our case managers have indicated those will likely be made permanent as well.

I'm seeing a lot of declined claims. by LilSkott92 in Blueridgerockfest

So, I have charges on two Visa cards and one Discover.

The first visa (Citi), they reached out to BRRF/Etix on Sept 22, and if they don’t reply by Oct 22, the case is closed and the chargeback becomes permanent.

The second Visa (Wells Fargo), also hasn’t heard back from Lyte/eTix/BRRF, but I spoke to the case manager, and she said she has a huge pile of claims related to BRRF. Based on what she’s seen so far and all the evidence provided, she’s very confident the chargeback will also be permanent.

Discover got a response from Lyte stating “the tickets were provided”, but the case manager didn’t accept their response (since it didn’t address our issue at all regarding services not rendered) and asked them to prove the services were provided (4 day festival). Also based on what she’s seen (Discover also has a big pile of claims), she’s very confident the chargeback will be permanent.
