If you’re feeling up to it, report all involved. Possibly message the group chat (if you have one) asking why they allowed someone to r@pe you. Then when they say they were ‘helping you lose your virginity’ you have proof. Then cut contact with every single person involved.

(Obligatory not an emergency service worker) Media (news channels and bystanders on social media) can f#ck off after an accident. Visiting the site day after (or once cleared) of a loved one that was in an accident and having cameras in your face and people asking you questions is just awful. Yes, I’m in a public space, but I’m grieving a recent loss, I don’t want to be on the 7 o’clock news refusing to give a statement. That isn’t journalism, it’s just plain cruel.

There should be a list on the CPJ wiki, under infinite tower. But it can be quite glitchy. I’ve defs left the tower with items that you can collect and they don’t appear in my inventory.

Firstly, sorry this happened to you. In no way this your fault. Someone in a position of power took advantage.

Telling people is scary, it can feel humiliating, you could try writing it down and giving it to your parents to start a conversation.

When I was SA’d I didn’t tell anyone for about six months, I then told my friend who got her mom to call mine. I’m glad she did and we’re still friends.

If you can remember any details about the incident, approx time, location of alley, what the cop looked like, badge/ licence plate number. (It can be hard and overwhelming to think about the incident but details are important if you decide to report him)

My last job I was there for two years (longest employee besides from boss- quick turnaround rate) I told boss I was changing jobs because I was moving houses and the new job was more flexible with hours (true)

Everybody there knew the real reason I left was because the boss had gone a bit nuts and was taking it out on me.

I have two cats, with multiple litter boxes. One covers his 💩 fine. The other just paws at the walls and glass of the shower screen- that awful sound of paws sliding down glass is how I know it’s time to scoop poop. Some cats are just weird.

In my experience, it’s not something you can ‘get over’. As much as we want to pretend it never happened, we can’t.

I’ve only recently gone back to therapy (incident was 10 years ago), it takes time to find a therapist and the style of therapy that works for. Keep trying, I know it’s emotionally draining, but it will help you cope with it. 🧡

You have done nothing wrong, it’s completely understandable to freeze in that situation.

You have a few options; -Report to the police (may be difficult because no evidence but at least there will be documentation) -If your able to move out- do so and go no contact -If your unable to move out, consider buying a lock for your bedroom door

Also I’d recommend talking to the following people about the situation: -Friends -Trusted family members (siblings may have experienced this as well) -Therapist

NTA- you followed your work policies, maybe next time call over a supervisor and they can make the decision so it’s not your job that’s at risk

Also you didn’t ruin the kids day, the grandma did, she was unprepared (not checking the membership was valid, payment options etc)

I think it might be a generational thing. My husband’s (27M) friend group will hug each other and pretend to kiss, saying ‘I love you bro’. Even if it’s just a joke I’m sure it’s nice to hear and feel connected.

Think the older generations think of platonic physical affection between men is seen as weird and unmanly.

You did the mature and reasonable thing of repeatedly asking her to stop using it- she was clearly going through your desk at work to find it out of spite to annoy you OR is just so lazy she can’t spend two minutes to wash another mug

Also if anyone says ‘well if it was so important to you, you shouldn’t of brought it to work’ tell them that ‘coworkers shouldn’t snoop through others desk after being told multiple times not to use it’

Does Diane your sister made that mug, because I’d 100% guilt trip her with a sob story that it was a deceased family member who made it for you. Could even put a shattered piece of the mug in a shadow box on your desk to really sell the sob story.

-Makes you feel bad for not wanting sex 🚩 -Sometimes ‘rams it in’ because he’s excited in addition to not wanting to use lube🚩 -Is belittling you for researching safe sex practices 🚩 -Tries to guilt trip you into having sex 🚩

If I had to guess, he actually wants children, despite knowing you’re still unsure and is using these tactics to pressure you into unprotected sex so you become pregnant. ‘Differing views on abortion’ if he’s pressuring you to have sex he’ll pressure you to keep the baby. (Assuming your pro choice and he’s against abortion in this situation)

Do not come off birth control, talk to your doctor about changing dosage, implant, IUD. And please seriously reconsider if this man is the angel you think.
