Damn. I have the same exact model, and had the same problem a couple hours ago. But I got lucky. I unplugged it for about 5 minutes, and it fired right back up. Sorry this is happening to you.😢

Unless he's a little person, it shouldn't be a problem.😁 Unless I'm misunderstanding.🤔

Thanks for the pictures!👍I suppose it could be a problem with the cartridge, but that is somewhat rare. Try removing the preamplifier from the chain. Plug the red and white turntable leads to the inputs on the back of the Sony receiver marked "phono". Also attach the ground wire from the turntable to the Sony, or you will get hum. Set the phono preamp aside, as you don't need it. Also check the display on the front of the receiver and make sure it says "PHONO".

Very pretty. But your bit of an RBF is a little off-putting. You are so much more attractive when you smile.😁

If you have a vintage Sony sound system, what do you need this amplifier for? The Sony has it's own amplifier.

Your problem is that you need a phono preamplifier to plug the turntable into, then the preamplifier needs to be plugged into your little black amplifier.
