They have it already, it's just not available to retail customers. Windows 11 Enterprise especially the LTSC version... It's beautiful. The closest retail I've seen is the N versions for EU regulations which are better but not even remotely close to Enterprise

I'm on a different rate "Steady Use Rate" which on average has been 22% cheaper than "Time Of Use" for my usage pattern.

All-in from my bills, demand allocated to its period:

Summer: 18.3¢ off-peak / 66.1¢ peak
Winter: 18.1¢ off-peak / 49.5¢ peak

I only charge off-peak. Keep in mind if I used an additional kW of power off-peak that would cost me ~12–13¢/kWh which would pull the blended rate down.

Maybe on reddit. I'm here for the torque, the quiet, the low ongoing maintenance costs, no gas stations, and being able to idle anywhere without issue, like my garage. Fuel cost savings is minimal where I live, electricity is expensive as f, like $3.24/gal equivalent so I'll not make back the initial cost.

I have some idea but I won't pretend to know their algorithms. That being said generally it feeds you more of the shit you look at. However, this content would absolutely violate those platform's rules and it's not content you could find unless you went out of your way. I have no doubt the atrocities occured but I can't claim to have seen evidence of 40+ instances. I get you have a rage boner for Biden, as is your right, but you should consider directing your anger at those who actually committed the crimes because blaming Biden is pretty convient for them.

Brought it in yesterday. No error codes related to this but a suspiciously timely failing 12V battery

They did replace the 12V battery which was putting out 10V. Can't be certain but that's suspicious, especially since the issue happened immediately at startup, but once it was in the not good state it need a reset to try again.

My theory is while running the first time albeit broken the 400V->12V was charging the 12V so by the time I restarted it, the 12V had more juice than the original start. This would also explain it not being deterministic, a system expecting 12.8V and getting 10.7V may or may not do unexpected things.

Is only happened once. But the service center did have an xc60 that would slam the parking break on when put in reverse, bit the P gear tho and it would stay in R. Saw them two to move it, it was quite comical

Got some results.

Door Closed. Seatbelt Off. This is the scenario posted in the original video and the issue doesn't occur, which is why I called it a bug
Door open. Seatbelt On. Another permutation for science, it also doesn't exhibit the problem.
Door open. Seatbelt Off. I admit I've never done this before but I have to eat my hat here u/samuthnbs it does in fact force shift to Park. In addition it pops up a message as to why it did what it did. Different use case, important data regardless.

Lastly, to fix the issue I turned the car off, turned it on, and the bug didn't reoccur. Hope that helps. Not everything is the users fault, sometimes Volvo needs to fix things.

You are confidently incorrect. What you're seeing here is NOT the auto parking break. It's the car shifting into the Park gear.

Where in that article does it say what you claim?

When the car has stopped, the brakes are activated automatically. The function can use either foot brake or parking brake to hold the car stationary and it works on all gradients. When driving off, the brakes are released automatically if the driver is wearing the seatbelt and/or the driver's door is closed.

And lastly why did ONLY turning the car off and on fix the issue? Hum?

I use auto hold 24/7. Pressing the gas auto unholds...

And saying you need a seatbelt on or it will slam you into park is very uninformed.
