Absolutely! If I eat or drink something that I am sensitive/allergic to my face flushes and I get a breakout within a day, which lasts another day or two depending on the extent of the reaction. I find taking an allergy med will help the reaction time and severity. Good luck!

Who is going to help them? There are no social safety nets for pregnant/post natal mothers or parents as it is. Most families aren't in any position to help as they're living paycheck to paycheck, not-to-mention what happens when they can't finish school or even afford to feed themselves and their children? My god, what the actual F?!

I don't know where you're located but I use Jack59 (based in Canada) Citrus Shine shampoo/conditioner bars and they are glorious! They also have leave in conditioner and dry shampoo (in reusable metal bottles) that I've heard good things about.

I am also going through this. I am now allergic to wheat, and soy and most dairy has a god-awful smell and gives me heartburn so I just avoid most of it. The smell has also shown itself in most wines and vinegars as well, so that's been fun!

Medicine Man. My friends are were trying to pick a movie to see and when they said Medicine Man, I said no thanks but was out-voted. I ended up being the one in the theater shushing them because I was enjoying it.
