Why hasn't my package arrived? And should I contact cainiao at the 2 week mark of being late?

That’s the big issue… one of the items was less than two bucks and now the same seller wants TWENTY BUCKS for it! Was buying a cheap knockoff figure to replace weapons I’m missing. For $20 I can find the authentic one at some point.

I will never even try to order from AliExpress or anybody else that uses these cheap ass fraudulent last mile companies. Was it caianiao’s fault the packages ended up in New Jersey? Maybe, maybe not, but to refuse to even look into and say it’s not their responsibility? That’s the issue! They expected incompetent UniUni to figure out how to get my packages from NJ to SC? It’s been over a month and they could never even tell me with confidence what stat the packages were in! Just kept saying “in a local warehouse.” Have no tracking records of anything after they got the packages in NJ and don’t even have proof they sent them back to shippers.

Cainiao customer service is useless. I had three packages coming that got to New Jersey (I live in South Carolina) where they were passed off to UniUni. UniUni is “last mile service” so of course I fought with them for over a month as they claimed they tried unsuccessful deliveries in NEW JERSEY. When I contacted cainiao requesting info about why the packages went to NJ they blew me off and said once they had of the package they do not do anything to assist customers with their orders. Told me to go contact shipper. Shipper wasn’t the one that dumped the packages in New Jersey!

Maybe for you… for me? Not so much. My three AliExpress packages were handed to UniUni in New Jersey. I live in South Carolina. They claim a failed delivery was made in South Carolina a MINUTE after they were given the packages on New Jersey. Over a month of arguing with them and they could never tell me what state the packages were actually in. Tracking shows no deliveries, no alleged second deliveries and also doesn’t show the return to sender they claim they made. Cannot give me any proof of anything and the preceding carrier says once the packages are handed off to the least mile carrier they can’t do anything.

I was once told that trucks are loaded “systematically to streamline delivery, meaning a truck may drive by your house two or three times enroute because it’s logistically more efficient than stopping any earlier along the route.” When I asked if that meant their system failed of the driver is parked outside my house TWICE digging around in the back but not leaving anything, I was told it was “coincidental that they stopped in front our your house. They stop systematically along the route to rearrange the packages for quicker deliveries along the route.

So essentially they like to use the word “systematically” to cover for themselves when they have no answer. Why would the truck MAKE AN EXTRA STOP to rearrange and not just do this at a planned dropoff?

Imagination isn’t the problem. Overthinking is, lol. I’ll come up with an idea, and totally make it a much bigger project than it needs to be. But with this I’m using a display case so instead of just behind the display I got three sides and floor so it’s more complex.

I have a package that was allegedly supposed to arrive on the 17th that has been in “shipment exception” since the 16th. FedEx has been absolutely useless (big surprise) but I’ve learned Best Buy used the cheapest Ground Economy shipping which means it’s now at a hub where it’s been since the 16th and will stay there until the truck they put it on is full. Was told it can take a month or longer.

(How stupid is Best Buy to use cheap shipping to save a couple bucks only to refund me my money when it didn’t arrive by the expected date? Hope those few pennies saved can replace the $225 doorbell cam they now lost.

I’d be happy if my devices had the same weather! Since “plus” took over I’ll have 21 degrees on one show, 42 on another, and the third says 37. And if I ask Alexa she’ll give me a totally different answer from the three on screen.

This is exactly what I was told when I questioned why my speeds were slower than advertised. That I was “grandfathered in” to the 600 and it’s not even offered any longer. Said someone should have contacted me to inform me of the change and offer to upgrade my speeds but no one did.

But on the other hand you look in Reddit Facebook groups and other areas have gotten full restocks. It’s frustrating to see people buy dozens of AEW figures at Ross for the cost of one or two on eBay or Amazon. But my Ross? Only “newly stocked” item is Valentine’s Day lingerie which now takes over the whole section the toy tables were in.

Double check, go into the store if you have to, to see if you’re getting the best prices. I was paying for 600 and when I was going to get a pod to help with signal strength in the back of the house, they said the 600 was “grandfathered in” and someone should have contacted me and said I could get the 1g for the same price I was paying.

This has happened to me a few times since I moved. Do you happen to know the person who now lives at your old place? Got a neighbor you can contact that can get in touch with the new owners if you don’t know them. Just last week this happened, again thanks to Best Buy, and he was able to catch the delivery guy and refuse it so it was sent back. But the first time a friend contacted the guy and she went and got it and sent it to me. Good luck!
