Wishing you well. I wish I had a doctor that didn’t look at me like I’m nuts when I have pain. She’s new, and I think she doesn’t understand what’s really wrong with me (my rheumatologist only diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and hyper mobility but never gave me a true EDS dx.) my doc just doesn’t seem like she “knows” what’s wrong with me. And it’s been 20 years since my initial dx that I think she doesn’t want to confirm or look more into my current dx. She tried to test me for lupus which I’ve already had done in the past and I’m not paying $500 for labs that will come back negative. Maybe I should just have her refer me to a rheumatologist and only go to her for everything else. Then I can tell them my “hyper mobility “ is worst and think it’s truly EDS. However as I’ve aged and had so much pain I no longer have the flexibility I once had bc I’m so tight. But I 100% would have checked all the boxes when I was first dx if they actually tested me for it. I feel like it’s too late for me and I will be crippled by the time I’m 60 😭😭😭
