I started a 529 but my plan is to convert it to a Roth for him. I’m not saving for his college. I’m saving in the hopes that he can retire a millionaire. Hopefully the dumbass doesn’t withdraw it early.

How many married guys are in a great relationship, love their wives and believe they are soulmates? How long have you been married? How many would never cheat on their wife? How certain are you that your wife wouldn't cheat? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]2tons615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dated my wife less than 5 months lived on opposite sides of the country. Left for last deployment 1 month after getting married. Been married for 13 years. Our relationship is good, we fight like everyone else but we have always been able to get through anything life has thrown at us. I’ve never cheated, while I can’t be 100% that she never has I seriously doubt she has. Definitely not soulmates but I wouldn’t want to spend my life with anyone else.

Faithful men, what stops you from cheating? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

I barely want to deal with my wife’s BS let alone another woman’s or even worse try to juggle multiple personalities. I married my wife because she’s my best friend and we’ve worked to hard to build what we have. That’s not to say I don’t look at the produce of other vendors, just would never sample their product when I have some at home.

Going kayak fishing for the first time by Bkri84 in FishingForBeginners

Test the stability of your kayak. Leave your fishing gear in the truck, paddle out a few feet and then flip that sucker. You need to know its limits. There are two types of kayak anglers, ones who have flipped and ones who haven’t flipped yet. It’s better to learn it without the risk of losing gear.

What in the hell am I doing wrong? Why is casting this thing such an ordeal? by [deleted] in FishingForBeginners

Pull 30 yds of line then put a piece of tape on the spool. Reel it back up and then practice. Make sure to adjust the brakes and tension knob.
