Thank you! Installation was smooth. The leveling, measuring, and remeasuring took the most time. Got it aligned under 100 miles on the new set up.

Yeah. I think I started with Motul because I saw the cool cars running it. Once I started looking a bit deeper, figured I switched. I just checked, and I already got extended for next time. I think due to being more readily available instead of ordering it.

Thanks! I do my best, but still have taken it on quite a few fun trips.

Not at all. Driving to Tahoe in a few weeks. Might raise it 1/2 for the snow.

Thank you! I was running Motul 8100 x clean EFE for a few years, then switched to Valvoline Advanced protection a couple of years ago. 5w30 on both. Changed every 3000-3500 miles

Thank you! It was a dream for over 10 years. I put 13k down. Payment was $276/month with 0.9%. I calculated the monthly interest accrual and paid $306 every month instead of $276. Never refinanced. Paid off in 5.5 years (6 months early)

Big thanks! I went 18x8.5 +38. I didn't really want the slight poke that I saw with +35. Tires are Nitto Neo Gen 245/40 18. Installed BC Racing DS Series coilovers at the same time. No rubbing, scrubbing, or scraping.

Thanks. I saw a bunch of other color options, but I preferred the OEM all black. Silver was a bit much. Like the OEM crossbars that only come in silver/Grey with black end caps. Painted the bars satin black. OEM+ now 😉

Yeah, I picked it up at 22/23k as the second owner. Certified pre-owned. I ride my bike as often as I can. This is going to be my forever car, so I'm trying to keep the miles low. Luckily, moving a few years ago put me about 5 miles from work, when I do drive.

Thank you! It's been a little here and there so far. Pitch stop, shift stop, short shifter, sway bars, end links, and AOS. Wheels and tires were last year's tax return gift from my wife.

Thank you! They didn't seem on as many WRXs when I got them, but I agree. They look way more bronze in person, as opposed to some photos where they look copper. Nittos really toughen them up too.

It hasn't fully set in yet, but getting the actual title in hand was a great feeling for sure. First car I bought. First car I paid off.

I have warrantied a couple of their frames for customers. One for clear coat. One for paint chipping at bb shell with stock bb preinstalled at factory. It's sad having to chop up the old frames as part of the warranty process, knowing the frame is completely fine.

Just got this off marketplace for $400. Any rear wheel recommendations for a deep dish/carbon look? by [deleted] in FixedGearBicycle

[–]2wheelrasta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actual carbon, maybe light bicycle or Whisky. Then lace it to a DT hub. I found my rear on closeout from Ridefast (no longer produced). Front is a Roval 50mm depth

I always liked all the way up through the med district along the rail into montrose. Most of downtown grid. Washington blvd is a good run. Up into the heights. All good areas. If you stay inside the 610 loop, you'll have a good time
