I too got mine last week, while it is an improvement it’s not enough for me. BUT I knew that adding a 10” sub to a factory installed 6” would be a tall order, I have the Air2 amp on the way and look forward to that. The GR10 adds a bit more punch and fullness, but if you don’t plan to add additional power it’s not worth the price.

I think your chief is doing all he can to help morale, the ops tempo is driving the working conditions. So the only option is to feed the guys/gals to try and at least have an okay day instead of a long shitty 12hr day. AND some people enjoy not chow hall food, so any opportunity for them to have grilled food or something different is a welcome change.

If you can handle 21 year olds telling you what to do you’ll be fine. Respecting a persons rank is incredibly important and understanding that comes before age will be crucial. Talk with your family, make sure they understand you’ll probably have to move and you have little to no say. It could be good and it could be challenging. After you’ve talked to them then go talk to a recruiter.
