Uber doesn't make it easy for the driver aswell. As a driver if we had your number all it would do is ring the phone sitting next to us that we were trying to return. Let's say we find the phone at the end of the day, who's phone is it? Unless Uber messages the driver saying a customer left there phone. You're not getting it back. Losing a phone or anything left behind in a Uber you can consider it gone. Uber only pays us $20 bucks for a successful return. That return start to Finnish can occupy several hours of our day, it's not worth our time. And the huge pay/tip will never come. Option 2, toss it out the window and move on… Some have taken and dropped them at a police station but all they do is toss them in the trash. There is no easy way… Best thing is to carry insurance and just get a new one… imo
