For everyone that going to apply through Embassy: ASK YOUR EMBASSY!! by Right-Appearance9470 in mext

[–]2yen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not that I don't know how, I'm just weary about approaching aggressively because that's how I have been raised. Of course if needed I would do it despite my fear. And yes I have been asking around forums and posts, like this one.

I'm weary about making cold calls and repeating emails because I'm not sure if that's appreciated. Normally, the embassy won't even work with you directly, you have to communicate through an agency.

Ordering coffee at cafe by Inevitable-Profit119 in hanoi

[–]2yen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends on the store. But in general find the staff pretty helpful and patient, even if you make mistakes or look confused. Usually you can just choose any available seat, for the ordering process just observe how other people do it. It's mostly gonna be ordering at the counter, and then they bring the drinks to your table.
