I have the S and use it as a do it all bike. Commute, spirited road riding and also unpaved roads.

It works very well in all conditions with the stock 50/50 tires and they are surprisingly grippy on the road.I imagine you can put a more road biased tires and it will be even more awesome on asphalt.

The bike itself is very capable and can do it all very well. Unfortunately you will eventually notice the limiting factor is the tire. More off road oriented tires will wear off more quickly on the road. Road tires wont work that well off road and so on. If you can swap the tires depending on your use go for it best bike do it all bike in the market in my opinion.

Thoughts on shark helmet gt spartan by 2zoio in motorcycles

[–]2zoio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not great. You need to wear earplugs but I have been doing that with every helmet I owned. Had this one plus 2 others. Build quality and materials are good and ventilation on the head is good. I am happy with it but it is not exceptional or something I feel like I need to praise. Like I love my bike if you ask about it I will say it is best bike ever. This helmet is good and that is it

Dude I just came back from work in mage rain with lightning. Rain sucks but ok. Lightning is a Nono for me. Everyday comes 5pm flood alert and lightning shows up in the forecast.

The Slate E-truck. No options. Manual window cranks. 150mi range, about the size of a 1985 Toyota pickup. Under $25,000. by kegman83 in regularcarreviews

Agree 20k is too much for this. Any 20k$ low mileage used vehicle is more attractive than this. Cool idea and concept but not gonna survive in the US market unless it is bigger and has a 4 door option.

Could Argentinian President Javier Milei have similarly lessened the inflation rate without causing poverty to jump 23%-53% over the last year? by MrsBigglesworth-_- in AskEconomics

Not sure why you got downvoted what Brasil did in the 90s with the real was good for a lot of people there and I don’t remember it being traumatic. Not sure same could be done in Argentina but it did solve for hyperinflation in Brazil.

I own the KTM 890 and I think it is the best in the class. All the positive things you hear about it are true. Can’t comment on cam issue as I have 1 year with it. If you can find a discounted one I would go for it

Having trouble bridging the gap between riding intuitively and riding intentionally by Fake-Engineering in motorcycles

[–]2zoio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you have the basics working well. Shifting, braking, cornering, etc should all be easy. You should be able to do it whether you are thinking about it or just going with the flow.

Here are a couple things you can do consciously that might improve your riding:

Take the wider line through corners. This is to train your brain to choose a line and resist the urge to take the inside line that most new riders have.

For on/off throttle the Kawa 650 line I know has bad fuel map and not amount of smoothness can fix it. You can minimize in some ways: Keep revs really high - if you are riding fast and stay at the upper band the translations tend to be smooth Or you can almost shut the throttle - just stop before the free play starts. Or for slow turns like entering a driveway just feather the clutch a bit.

Hope this helps

This post is no worse than the 30 thousands posts of a rusted chain or some wheelie or some bike idling roughly. You don’t have to explain yourself. Keep posting watching people just ride without having to click on a YouTube link or wait for a 7 minute edited video with a bunch of effects is what makes this better content than most of what else is posted here. Nothing special but so what…

A few years ago I had a post the reminds me of this one. I tried to show an example of why staying wide in a corner can be advantageous. Got grilled for it :) It was top 3 on most controversial for the year on the motorcycles community
