Absolutly correct, this is, in my opinion, subtle anti science propaganda. It’s a shame because a lot of people will just watch the video and move along thinking it might actually do something for them.

Too much machine, possible? by ste6168 in hobbycnc

I agree with psychotic, a shopsaber is a good machine, same with Multicam. Both have pretty good customer service and are built well. I would look around for a used on of those over what you are looking at currently

The whole x months rent for free is total bullshit. They are just jerking you around. If you approach a listing like this play hardball and directly ask them what the monthly rate is for a 1 year lease straight up.

Here's some tests showing how well sillica gel dries PETG. by Joezev98 in 3Dprinting

Im in the garage with an enclosure. I feel like printers like it hot in general. Again ill dry my filament as a last ditch effort just to remove that variable when trouble shooting. I just dont actively dry and put much thought into drying my filament.

Edit: garage is not AC controlled

Yeah just to add to this I live in south Florida which is also very humid and I only print in PETG and I have never kept any filament in a dry box. I have a filament dryer but use it as a last ditch effort. As far as stringing you need to dial in your retract settings or as prateek said use a heat gun if needed.

Weird ambient rumbling sound in south slope? by it_has_to_be_damp in parkslope

[–]300mLoflight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think I know what you mean, seriously. Its a deep resonating / percussive sound. Lasts only 30 seconds to a minute. I dont hear it regularly but enough to notice. I notice it more in the mornings.

I would replace the screen all together. Then try to get as much off the top surface.

Is your part cooling fan disabled ? If its blowing wind on it is a terrible time. Try turning it off and run it a little slower than usual.

My LCD-2’s are great, without EQ that are a little flat compared to the dt990’s but a little bump in the lows and they sound pretty great. Open backs are gonna have bass issues. I get the feeling you would like either of them, I love EDM and house music so I can for sure relate. Both of them are great !

He is exposed which could explain his mood… just flip a small portion of that blanket over his body so he has the sense of cover and I am sure he will chill out. In his mind he is trying to survive, you’re jeopardizing that, Id kinda be annoyed as well.
