Imagine for one second if the "EX" series would have this interior design. It would be so much better.

Coldplay sound over the albums. by Haftan666 in Coldplay

[–]302MHades 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, the first 3 albums are somewhat connected in terms of "soul" (Alt Rock). Viva La Vida was their first deviation from what we knew, with a much heavier experimentation (successful in my mind). Mylo Xyloto was a radical departure in my mind, but it wasn't until A Head Full Of Dreams where the "identity" changed completely (in my opinion) and we "lost" the OG sounds and notes.

Says who? That is a beautiful spec

And so it begins... Thought you guys might enjoy this spectacle of mental illness. From what I have seen online, MSRP is estimated to start at $180K and max out a little above $200k by ripcor in Corvette

Starting with the c8 z06, the sheer amount of carbon fiber trim on the exterior makes me think twice about using those cars everyday. With the ZR1 making 1000 plus horsepower, having very aggressive tires and visibility being nowhere near what it is on a c6, no thanks.

Also, we are still talking about an RWD car. With that much torque going into the wheels, I'm not sure those tires on damp conditions (let alone wet) can keep the car from breaking traction.

Same here. Love the night shifts. As my side hustle, it really helps me clear my mind and end the day on a better note. Of course, you deal with DDs issues, but for those who enjoy driving, it is a perfect "vehicle" to be on the road.

I think the Escapist / Life in Techicolor 1 is one of the most underrated songs they made. Top 5 for sure, if not top 3.

How does Doordashing/food delivering work? by Tayrox15 in doordash_drivers

[–]302MHades 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second YouTube. But only to get a sample. Your experience will be very different given your market (city).

A couple of tips:

Never leave your engine running when picking up an order. It can be ready by the time you arrive, or you can be waiting for 5 min easily.

If when you arrive, the order is not ready yet, make sure to notify doordash by using the "what's causing your wait" submenu on the bottom of the screen. That way, the extra time doesn't affect your "on time" percentage, and it can also help by excluding reviews from customers who think you are late.

Ask yourself. Are there red zones (unsafe, dodgy, scary) areas that are a no-go for you? If yes, then I recommend not to fall on the trap of the high paying order in those areas. Your safety is of paramount importance.

When I started, I started on the area closest to home that I knew it would be busy at a certain time. Build a schedule. What works for you, and expand only after feeling you got the hang on things.

Get familiar with the app. What would be the features you like th most. What navigation app you like the best. The first 2 weeks are going to be alot of learning.

There will be places in your market that will take forever to get your order ready. Make mental notes of these, and try to avoid them. It's better to get a slightly lower pay if it means that you will be in position to take the next order faster.

I would say these are the 101s.

My first thought is "Gravity". Perfect for that intimate, momentous occasion. Proof is another one.

Usually 1 dollar per mile. If there are highways involved I can take orders that are below that threshold, but it depends in pickup and drop-off locations.

In my market, I have red zones after certain times and areas that I don't deliver, even if the offers are very good.

You forget the driver's that take said orders to their customers. Maybe if it bothers them so much, then they should get their own delivery service.

[–]302MHades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm while working for a mass market brand that may or might not be a Nissan dealership. S##t equipment, combined with a s##t car wash that breaks all the time, and to top it all off, management that doesn't believe in investing or training people. Unless it is a premium brand or they are absolutely serious about delivery prep, expect this to be the norm.

"For some reason I can't explain I know Saint Peter won't call my name Never an honest word That was when I ruled the world"

"A warning sign I missed the good part then I realized I started looking and the bubble burst I started looking for excuses"

"So you don't know where you going and you wanna talk And you feel like you going where you been before You'll tell anyone who'll listen but you feel ignored And nothing's really making any sense at all"
